Wow! That would be like 25 lbs!

My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019.  With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer.  I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud!  He will live forever in my Heart!

Ok. I owe Max and Sassy Sue an apology.  I haven't mentioned you guys but you know How busy I have been and worried about your big brother. But I love all of you!

Max - I use to do contract work from home and then I took a full time job. Brownie got lonely and would hide when I left. I would give him his favorite treat and he wouldn't eat it until I got home. So I went to the shelter and adopted Max. I think he is terrier mix. But anyway from then on all was good. I called him Brown's live toy.

Sassy Sue - Sassy showed up at work. People came to me at work and said there was a mean dog out there. I tried to pet her and she growled at me. I told them she is probably scared and it's fear aggression. So i went outside and there was this little beagle mix. So I sat down about 3 feet in front of her and started talking to her. After about 20 minutes she came right up to me. So she was skinny and full of fleas. I took her to the vet and got her fixed up and spayed. After having her a couple of months a space came available at a no kill shelter. I took her there around 10 am and surrendered her on a Saturday and went back and picked her up at 4;00 the same day. I couldn't do it! She was and is part of our little pack.

So that is my family

Exactly! You can see the Pet to Human Weight Translators here, very interesting stuff.

I called him Brown’s live toy.

Oh that is so funny! And adorable. So will Brownie eat treats now when you are away? Or does Max get to them first?

I took her there around 10 am and surrendered her on a Saturday and went back and picked her up at 4;00 the same day.

That is the most adorable rescue/foster failure story EVER. Sassy Sue the "Mean Dog" knew exactly who to be nice to on that day!

They each get one treat when I am on my way out the door. There have been times that I'm in a hurry and forget, but Brownie reminds me. As soon as I walk out the door brownie will start barking and will not stop. Them I am like. Oh yea, I forgot the treats!

So since brownie needs to loose 5 lbs, and max and Sassy could loose a little as well I'm going to try and make dehyrated treats plus I will know exactly what is in them.

Oh cool! I would love to see what you come up with. There are soooo many ways to give dogs snacks that are low-cal and easy to make.

Rene, I got my necklace today and absolutely love it! Wearing it now. Got to get the charm next. If anyone is thinking about getting one I would highly recommend. I emailed you a  couple of photos of Brownie rock in his bandana.  Thanks again!

That's a great idea! I could hook it on his harness.  Thanks for the idea!

I 100 percent agree! And I finally got a picture of him sitting instead of laying down. Lol

Hi everyone. I was reading jerry's diet and I did not know you could feed raw poultry, I thought just need.

Also, on the k9 immunities does anyone know if the powder or treats is better. I want to try it because it has the mushrooms in it. Brownie hates his mushroom powder. I have tried it in everything, even stinky liver and sardines and he spits it out. I have even tried it in gravy and broth. If I hide a capsule in his food he knows. He will look at me and tip his bowl over. I kid you not. So I will pick it up take the capsule out then he eats. How does he smell a capsule? So I put them in a bite size of raw hamburger. Which works for capsules bit not the mushroom powder.

Any advise on the k9 immunities would be great. He is on several supplements but I have heard a lot about the k9, even my vet said it was good.

Brownie, you are one smart Dude!  Love the visual  of uou flipping the bowl over! I'll try and help ua' out a little bit, okay?

I used the K9 Immunity chews for Happy Hannah and she enjoyed them as though they were  a treat.  I do feel like they were beneficial.  Can't  prove it, but she did seem to have a little more pep in her hop/step when I could give them to her consistently.

Okay Brownie, I did my best to keep you from having  to tipmover your bowl to prove your point to your hooman!!😉

Hugs
