Nancy, what a beautiful thing, I never thought about sending balloons to the Rainbow Bridge, that is so sweet. It made my heart skip a beat. I know how much you miss that boy. We all do.
Jackie it was great to see Bo celebrating! He's such a handsome doggie.
Sally ohhhhhhh myyyyyy dog! I didn't know that happened! Did Frankie get springs installed on his paws? Yikes! Please know that you can always call me if something like this happens again OK? I'm on Pacific time so 3 hours behind and I will probably be awake if it happens at night. But hopefully it will not ever again RIGHT FRANKIE? I'm glad he's OK and that video of you, him and Myrtle was very touching.
Brownie I hope you are still pawtying it up in heaven. When it's MY birthday I celebrate the entire month! 😉

Today Bobo will be joining Brownie at the Bridge.
Bobo was a stray that showed up at our door 13 years ago. I remember when my ex husband would go to work he would say "don't feed that dog". I would say "I'm not", but of course I did. The man next door (Brownie's previous owner) said he would give Bobo a home, and I thought, Great. As soon as I saw Bobo on a chain, I told the man this was not going to work, and I took Bobo back. Bobo then became a part of our pack, and turned out to be an angel in disguise.
We also had a GSD. Charlee started limping at age five. We took her to the vet twice and they said it was premature arthritis. But the medication did not work. When Bobo became part of our family, he would not leave Charlee's hip alone. He would smell it, paw it, and he would just wine. We took Charlee to a specialist, and with one x-ray, and there it was. Cancer. Soon to follow was amputation, and chemo. Because of Bobo, Charlee lived an additional year pain free.
Bobo was big brother to Brownie. Even though I was the one that took care of Bobo, he was definitely my ex-husband's dog. My ex has been keeping me informed on Bobo's health, and at approx. age 16 his body is shutting down. We are meeting at the vet at 4:45. We are unable to go inside due to the virus, but the vet will come outside so we can be together. So soon Brownie and Bobo will be running again together side by side.....

Ohhh Nancy my heart aches for you and your ex. I'm really, really sorry that you are going through this again, so soon after Brownie. I wish we could help our furkids live forever. If you want to talk, we are here for you OK?
And please post more about Bobo when you get a chance, we would love to honor the incredible life he had with Charlee and Brownie. May the three kids all watch over us from the heavens.

Awww Nancy, so sorry Bobo's earthly journey is coming to an end. You've had a lot of grief to deal with, and now this.
I know it doesn't make you hurt any less. but sixteen years!! WOW!!! To be freed from a life on a chain to a life full of love and joy because of you willing to bring him into your life is just beautiful. ❤
Thanks for sharing his story and telling us how Charlee played such a role in your pack too. As Jerry said, please share more of Bobo and Charlee when you can. I wasn't able to see the picture...,may be a tavlet thing
I'm glad that you and your husband will be able to be with Bobo. I know he will feel the love and will be able to take that love with him as he heads young and free to the bridge. And oh my goodness, can you imagine the reunion when he sees brownie coming running towards him? And Charlie too? Tails wagging non stop. And Bobo will get there just in time for the 7:00 o 'clock treat pawty ritual now every night!

Ya' know, when I posted that picture pf a shining bright star in honor of Brownie, I tried to "fix" it...edit it...somit just showed the one bright star for Brownie. I could make it work. Now I know why. Brownie had already picked out a Star for Bobo to follow to lead him back home to him. Yep, the two bright lights are shining bright eternally.

I know this is few days late, but I just read this. I did not realized when you were speaking to me that the passing of Brownie was so recent and then, losing Bobo just few days after. I am so sorry to hear this.
We are thinking about you.
Thank you! I do miss him some thing fierce. Brownie was my heart dog!
Bobo was an awesome dog! He lived with my ex but did see him from time to time.
Now they are both running together on the bridge.

I have no doubt they had the best life they ever could. You did everything for them. They have had a full life of happiness it seems:)
Makes me smile to think about them running together in their next life 
Just catching up. Im so sorry to hear about Bobo! Its alot when you have 2 losses so close together. Im sure Brownie was right there waiting to welcome him.

My sweet soulmate Roane was diagnosed with osteo in June of 2019. Had a rear leg amp on July 2nd & crossed the rainbow bridge to be with her sister Gypsy on the first day of Autumn Sept 23 2019.
