Dear sweet Brownie, when i saw this tears came to my eyes. Tears for us humans because we have so little time to learn all the good things dogs have to teach us. Tears because your beutiful letter touches my heart so deeply. Your story has been an inspiration for so many. You did sooooo good Brownie! You and your mama have been there for so many of us when we needed it most! Its been an honor to be part of your journey. Thank you for sharing all of that love and inspiration with all of us!

Your mom is right about the rainbow bridge being the most beautiful place in the world. I know it will be hard to leave, but you wont be alone. All the wonderful angels will be waiting to welcome you. There will be cake, sunshine, deer poop and frogs!

Roane would be honored to teach you the perfect method for traveling a frog around the yard in your mouth. Its all about the legs, and mud lots of stinky mud! 😉

You and Brownie have been such an inspiration to all of us. I am crying like a baby right now. I think we can all relate to it so much. Some of us are going through the loss process now, some of us have been through it already. At the end of the day it’s not a journey that any of us want to go through. Brownie knows how much you love him and he is very grateful for this amazing extra year that you guys got together. He will be crossing the rainbow bridge and will be free of all the pain. I truly believe that they never leave us and it’s not a goodbye its a “till we meet again”. My thoughts and prayers are with you today and we all know how difficult this is.

Nancy, we are so sorry to hear about Brownie. That day in the park with Brownie & Maggie was nice. Both of them got along which is kind of weird since Maggie does not do well around most dogs. Nancy, Maggie and I had a good time that day and glad that we were able to meet you and Brownie.  Thanks for sharing your story and being an inspiration. He is in a much better, peaceful place now. I know that you miss him very much, but remember all of the good times both of you shared.

Brownie is running free now, and he is racing with all of our Angels, telling them all the stories about his delicious chocolate and how mama spoiled him rotten

Brownie will live on in our hearts and inspire people here not to give up on their pets in dark moments of worry. He will show them that the doctors aren't always right when they say they will only have a month or 2 to live as a tripawd. He beat those odds easily with your love and care.
