Nancy, we all love your Brownie dearly...and you too!!   Our hearts break with yours and we know the time ahead will be rough, very rough for a long time.  We know the void is soooo sad.  The routine of caring for your beloved Brownie has stopped.  

What sustains us all though, is knowing  Brownie  transitioned  peacefully surrounded by your love.  We know he showed you he was ready.  We know he knew, even though it would be so hard for you...he knew you would be alright and that gave him the peace of mind he needed.  He knew you put your love for him above the gutwrenching  grief that faced you.

I still ,marvel at  how he beat the odds! How he showed time and time again the Vets just didn't  know the kind of stubborn strong willed dog they were dealing  with!  HE would decide  when he needed to head to the Bridge...not them!!!

Brownie QILL connect with you.  We promise you that.  How and when...all up to him!

Don't  be offended if it takes a little while.  Right now he is having sich a good time at the Bridge!  Every single one he mentioned  in his letter, as well as all the others, were right there excitedly calling his name as he got closer and closer!   And yes, the Bridge Dog Band was playing  "When rhe Saints (Brownie) come MARCHing In!"   

They all had his March calendar page posted up in the Welcome Home Dinner Hall.  And the feast they had spread out for him.....OMD! He ate  his plate...got refills ten times before he stopped and asked for dessert!!!!    Five bowls of ice cream with CHOCOLATE  syrup, whip cream, sprinkles and cherries!!

And then he went to his squishy comfy bed full of stuffies snd xookie trears placed in his pillow.  He had a picture of you and Sassy and Max (actually dozens of pictures), kissed it good night.  He  slept so peacefully  with a smile on his face and the words "thank you" on his lips. 

Feel the love Nancy.  Feel his love.  Put your hand on your heart and know  he is there with you in  every beat of your heart......just as he feels you with him with every beat of his heart.❤❤❤

Dear Mom!

What do ya' mean "send you a sign?  Are you paying attention???  I mean, I know I'm  knew st rhis aign stuff, but I think the calendar  showing my handsome March self and then the three paw prints  Pig Maggie  and I left were pretty darn impressive signs!😎

I have to be quick because  I'm  getting ready to teach   a class tonight on how to read a clock.   I told everyone  here at the Bridge about how I had to bark, bark, bark to tell you it was 7:00 o'clock and time for my treat!!   They couldn't  believe I could read a clock so I have to show them!

And let me tell you this right now!  Listen up Mum!!!  I felt your love and devotion every  single day snd nght 24/7 non stop!!   That was one of the first things I told every at the Bridge that I was soooo lpved snd soooo spoiled!  I shouldn't  tell you this, but I told them I played you sometimes.😉   I acted like I didn't  want to eat sometimes  just so you would hand feed me!  I am such a smart boy!!  Yeah, you loved me alright!!!

Okay....gotta run!   Time for class.  What do you want me to teach them?  What was one of your favorite things I did that really impressed you?  I'll share it with all my friends at the Bridge!

Oh, and  I'll get better at sending you signs.  I might even do it by popping in on your dreams😎
