Haha😁 That Brownie is quite a personality!
Ditto Jerry's observations. Double check for muscle soreness, tweaks, etc. Ot xould ve a combo of both...a little bit "playing you", but it could start with muscle soreness/stiffness.
Regardless, give that sweet Briwnie for me!😎
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
He will only take treats from me, or if it is someone he knows and I am with him, and tell him it's ok.
He gets a massage before bedtime and one Rimadyl a day for soreness.
My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019. With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer. I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud! He will live forever in my Heart!

However, if anything is sore it has to be his butt. When he wants to lay down, instead of going into a sit position first, while he is standing he will slowly drop his back side down first and then his front. And I an hear his butt go smack.

See if you can take a video of him doing that. What you are describing sounds like the kind of muscle weakness that therapists detected in Wyatt.

I ditto the video if you can get one! I did that with Huck a couple of times throughout his recovery and it is amazing how differently you can see it on video.
I know it is kind of a pita to do it, but it might be very helpful
Hugs, hope you are doing well 😊

I will give it a try.

Wow, he really does a good job! You know Huck is a kitty, but in my honest unprofessional opinion it just looks like he's balancing himself to lay properly. I know others will look and judge with more experience. It's almost like you say lay down and he thinks about it for a moment to make sure he gets it right.
I might totally be missing something here but I did not notice pain.

Awwww he's tap dancing on the wall!
I just saw the video of him laying down. Wyatt often flops to the amp side too, just like that. Either it's him taking the path of least resistance to the ground, or there is some muscle weakness. Either way you can show that to his rehab therapist next time so they can try to help him get stronger in the rear.

That's a good idea to show it to the vet.

That is a great idea Rene! It is at least a beginning maybe. You might be able to get another video when Brownie is more awake too! That is why the videos are so helpful. Different people grab different things, especially ones that have similar situations.
Hugs to you and your pack

You are right Jackie. He does need to be more awake. His hearing has faded some and when he sleeps he sleeps hard!
