Hi All- It is Lira's one month Ampuversary! She is doing so well. After the first two weeks ( that hellish time that we all seem to have in common!) life is GOOD!! She runs, plays, is eating well - has that " light " back in her eyes - barks at our horses and loud machinery! I am wondering about the Metronomic protocol. We have limited access to traditional chemotherapy where we are - but would love an explanation from anybody who can shed some light on this type of treatment. She had clear radiographs pre amputation. We have a wonderful veterinarian, so if I can go to her armed with some info on this it may be worth pursuing. Thanks again to all of the members who have supported us through this time. Lira sends a big BOw wow woof. I hope to load a picture of our beautiful girl as soon as I can get one of my non fur babies to help me !!
Carmen and Lira in Canada!
Thanks for this great update! Best wishes for many more ...
Be sure to check out the blog posts we wrote about Jerry's metronomic protocol treatment and his check up results two months later. Tazziedog also started this topic with details regarding her metronomic oncology update. (FYI: Pam is a vet.) And, Tikaani started a popular discussion about possible negative reactions to metronomics. Finally, if you're seeking a little inspawration, watch Jerry's Atomic Dog movie. YouTube pulled the George Clinton soundtrack, but you should get the idea.
When you can get your pictures uploaded, here are instructions for embedding the photos in your forum posts.
