Hi everybody... maybe you are interested to know that yesterday we took in a new fourpawed family member.
Olympia is something around 2 months old and was found in a carboard box at a corner. Incredible what people can do!

Oh Cecilia, what beautiful pictures! Thank you for sharing them with us.
I believe everything happens for a reason, and I believe you were meant to find that little pup and bring her home with you. She looks so sweet, and I think Hori would definitely approve.
Take care,
Michelle
Maybe somebody can give me a hint what Olympia might look like when she grows up?
Who's pup used to look like her when he/she was young?
To me she looks like a 100% mutt... but somebody might recognise a couple of breeds in her...

OH my gosh Cecilia, she is DARLING! Congratulations. I love "signs" from the universe like that, it was definitely meant to be. What a lucky girl to have found you, and vice versa. You are an awesome, compassionate human for taking her in.
Well, the white paws could be Border Collie? Maybe some Pittie and Lab? Hmmm...

Oh Cecelia...gosh, I cry at anything. What a precious baby!
I had a friend once who had a lab-great dane cross who looked a lot like that (but lab-sized); she told me you can recognize the Dane part by the white toes. Wouldn't that be something! I never knew if that was true...well, in this case, I don't think the feet are big enough.
Anyway, congratulations on your special, special gift. I look forward to more pictures.

Cecilia,
What an absolutely beautiful pup. She will warm your heart and spirit. She will give you precious memories. She will be her own personality. But above all, someday she will let you remember Horacia with a smile and not just the canyon of a hole that now consumes you. I speak from experience.
Gifts like Olympia are given to those with a heart big eneough to fully appreciate them.

She's so adorable. What a precious gift!
I think I see border collie and/or lab in her, but I'm certainly no expert. The two dogs I've had in my life were both forever unknown mixes.
Good dog, Spirit Hori!!

Cecilia,
What a cute little girl. I believe that Hori is glad that you found her.

Thank you all for your comments!
I guess Susan is right with her breeding expertise!

Congratulations on your new baby Olympia! She is beautiful... and she really won the lottery, to have been found by you and your family! Hori didn't want you to be so sad anymore... so I truely believe that Olympia came into your lives for a reason. You all needed each other! I can't wait to see what she looks like when she grows up...

A new love in your life, how special - not to take the place of, but to keep that positive energy flowing. I see a new dog in your life as a HUGE step. Congrats!

Hi, Castaño is the most tolerant dog I know. but he knows how to set limits too (when Olymoia tried toclimb on his head he finally pushed her away)
