While I was away, I learned the news of Brendol and Sassy’s release to the Rainbow Bridge. These 2 lovelies were diagnosed and amputated within a few weeks of Jackson. Brendol and Sassy’s departure hit me hard and I couldn’t wait to get home to my fuzzface. Cancer takes our pups and kitties too early, so we all here focus on every day being a gift. We choose to celebrate Jackson’s 8 month ampuversary in honor of these 2 spectacular pups, Jackson-style!

First off, excuse the crotch-shots, my spinning clothing, and poor bubble performance. I was in spinning just before this, when the idea came to me and I had to find bubbles fast! All I could score was this crappy little bubble gun that never worked. I had to improvise, which meant a weak flow of bubbles. But, drum roll…this is Jackson’s first time with bubbles! He’s clearly not as impressed as dear Brendol, but we tried!
I then wanted him to roll over and howl out for Sassy! He performed well, albeit with some X-rated behavior (ooops!).
Hoppy Ampuversary to Jackson! We love you! Thanks for making all our days better and thanks for celebrating the lives of 2 very loved, very special pups. Run free, fast, breathe deeply, and get those bubbles, Brendol and Sassy!

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

First of all, congratulations and hoppy ampuversary to Jackson! He's doing so well and looking so good!
Second, what a sweet and special tribute to Brendol and Sassy! Thank you for doing something so lovely for Karma and Michelle, who are every bit as sweet and special as their pups.
Jackson, keep up the good work. And I say it's fine to lick your naughty bits while being filmed. Hell, you should be able to do whatever you want!

Oh my dear, you touched my heart. I'm sobbing and laughing all at once from both grief and joy. I am so happy Jackson's doing good. He looks awesome. And he's just so stinking cute. I am so appreciative that you two thought about Michelle and I's girls. The bubbles are great. No worries about the slow start, he'll get the hang of it. This was the introduction phase.

Karma, the pack and our angel Brendol
Adelaide is a young tripawd Husky, from an injury. Her amp was on 10/1/12. She has 4 sisters, Aissa (a senior border collie/chow), Maggie May (a puppy Great Pyrenees), Mathilde and Morrigan and 1 baby brother, Bagheera. We are all watched over by our angel Brendol, who was dx with OSA 1/30/13, amp on 2/6/13, and left us on 8/20/13.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg.
