We are so very pleased to hear that Bentley’s surgery went so well and that he is already thanking you by showing you how well he can get around on 3! You will both have your ups and downs over the next couple of weeks, but like everyone has said, we are here if you need a sympathetic ear!
Many of us, me included, camped out in close quarters with our fur kids for the first few days. The less moving around that Bentley does in the first part of recovery the better! I will reinforce what Sally has said, bed rest, bed rest and more bed rest, pee breaks, as much food as possible (the tastier the better!) and more bed rest. Im sure Bentley will do great, but you may have to work with your vet on finding a good dose of pain meds for him. Every dog is different, so what works for one, may not work for another. You know Bentley best, so keep an eye out for signs of pain and give your vet a all with any concerns.
All the very best and keep us updated
