Thanks everyone. He's definitely sore today. I think it's less the chemo, and more how long he has to wait for everything. His next appointment will be easier, as I'm taking that week off for the puppies, and can wait for him there. No drop off. He wouldn't take his pain pill, so I hope he will tonight. I'll try for some pictures once he's feeling better. He looks pretty down right now. He wouldn't eat dinner last night, but I wasn't surprised. 

Czar seems back to normal, minus the refusal to eat any sort of dog food. He'll eat anything else human, but no kibble. I'll try grounding some up tonight, as he's not getting enough of what he needs with stew and lunch meat. No pictures. I'd forgotten how much work it takes to puppy proof, so that's taken all my limited free time. I over did it yesterday, packing away all my craft supplies.

He ate again last night. He was obviously hungry, but he clearly held out for the stew to be mixed in. I'm fine with it. I'm trying to keep from pushing too much. I don't want to burn out with new puppies.

We had a blind Lab mix, who also seemed to be looking at any available food. She was a drooler too. Czar knows that if he leaves me alone, he'll get some of what I have.

He does deserve it. Lucy was her name. She was a Lab/Springer spaniel mix. We got her when I was about six. She ended up at the shelter for being too much energy for her elderly owner. She was a sweetheart. Not very bright, but a really good family dog. She lost her eyes to glaucoma, one at a time. She was also diabetic, and had Cushing's disease. She was always happy though. She was 13 or 14 when she died, the summer before my high school senior year. She was the last dog my parents' had, before helping me with my boys.
