One year coming up? WOW!!! She is a total rock star, give more shrimp to our superhero Nova, she sure deserves it! Standing her ground all the way through the year and beyond, she's a real inspawration.

Nova she does this fake out where we think she's sleeping but she keeps an eye half open to spot food
A tripawd as cute and smart as you will be able to always get their way.....and that includes a piece of whatever your hoomans are eating. Nope, you will not be outsmarted when it comes to tracking down whatever your hoomans are trying to eat in secret.
Nova is soooo adored and loved, that's obvious♥️

February 10th marks 1 yr since Nova became a tripawd and yesterday she had her check up she has a clean bill of health and is still going strong. Stay tuned for Nova's travels down south

Hard to believe it's been a year and what a wonderful year it has been!! Nova has gotten so much spoiling and loving and fun crammed into this year and it's all been pain free and quality!😎
Can't wait to see the pictures from florida. I'm sure ice cream🍨 and cake🍰 will be awaiting her to help celebrate this wonderful milestone.

Sweet Nova has arrived in sunny Florida for her vacay.
Clearly Nova is loving snuggling with her beloved Tonya and just lounging around all comfy in her "summer home" away from cold Winter.

Vacationing in Florida during Gecko season" is Nova's favorite time. She loves searc8h for them and she's mighty cute when she does♥️ Of course, after protecting her hoomans from Geckos, she needs to rest on a cool patio in the Florida sun.

Tonya says Nova is loving her Florida vacation. These pictures show that to be true. Although she said Nova was too Happy being in the water, but she looked to me like she was enjoying it. Such a loved pup!

Hi guys we are home now we got home this past Tuesday and they were conducting a new ride program for people going to bike week like we did so they check out the truck and the bikes, etc and of course Nova made some new friends the border patrol just loved her and she got to say hi to them then we were cleared and on our way.
When we took Nova to the beach she wasn't too keen on the water and we did get her in a bit but she wasn't crazy for it. My mom said if she had her other leg she'd be more confident in swimming the ocean but next year when they go back hopefully Nova will be more used to it.
So Nova has a big day coming up next Monday on March 25th Nova turns 11 years old (mine is two days before hers on the 23rd and I'm a lot older than 11 lol)
And during the trip I slept with Nova every single night except four because she slept with her pawrents and sleeping with Nova in a double bed is best described as Ruff 😜 and your left with an inch of bed and blanket to sleep with. But there were some nights we cuddled and others....let's just say I felt around to see what end was gonna greet me in the morning. And I've gotten great at moving out of the way from those giant back legs. And it did help that her daddy carried her to bed every night. So Nova's 2024 trip to Florida was awesome....
oh and she's a sneaky girl on route home mom gave her her medicine for arthritis and literally days before we were due to leave Nova ends up with an infection in her eye which is totally gone now and she has a sore in her mouth which I believe has healed. So she takes pills in the morning and so on the road not as easy....well Nova stuck her nose behind me and spit out her pill well I took it and gave it to her she swallowed it lol and her salmon boy is she great at avoiding it and eating the food around her meds.

Nova looks fantastic, what a fun time on the coast! Sounds like a great time for all of you, except maybe for some sleep deprivation!
So she's not a surf dog eh? Has she ever been? We do find that most dogs who liked swimming before amputation will still like it afterward.
Hard to believe she it turning 11 soon. WOW! What a SUPER SENIOR! And happy birthday to you too!

As she said see you later to the geckos and beautiful Florida beach you can see how much she enjoyed the ride home. She has such a comfy setup in the car and I'm sure it was the best kind of tired that she was experiencing after a wonderful vacation with everyone she loves.
Tanya, had to chuckle about your sleeping "arrangements" with Nova......... very little cover, very little bed and never knowing which end of Nova would be greeting you in the morning!

She normally looooves swimming but was uneasy as the waves were rough we tried to get her in the water deeper but she's wasn't keen on that but loved lying in the sand
