Awww . . . so good to get this update! I'm glad things are progressing well and yes, there will be more down days. But you've got this! And if you question that resolve, come here and we'll be here to tell you "YOU'VE GOT THIS!"

Rock ON Kristy and Maya, you are kicking some butt! I love your upbeat attitude despite the slump and a few challenges. It's that kind of outlook that will get you through anything on this journey and it's one that every new Tripawd pawrent needs to strive for. LOVE IT!

Here's to a great week ahead, you guys are quite a team! xoxo

P.S. would love to see some photos!

You guys are doing great!!  A few bumps in the road of recovery is to be expected.  Glad things are starting to even out for sweet Maya.  I believe me we've all gone through the phase of questioning our decision to amputate but then once you're on the other side of recovery it's all totally worth it!!

Hang in there!

Sahana and her Angel Leland and Lucian too

Oh yes, the roller coaster ride is real!  lol  Up and down you go!

At least you are on your way back up again smiley

So glad to hear that Maya is doing well.  Murphy never really had a hard time finding his balance.  He did hit a slump after a little while where it seemed like his back legs got stiff and his back seemed hunched.  What we figured out is if he lays on his side and we start massaging his back & hips, he will start stretching out and arching back...and moaning & groaning lol.  It seems to help loosen his back & hips some for him.

Murphy had his right front leg amputated due to histiocytic sarcoma at 7 years old. He survived 4 years, 2 months & 1 week, only to be taken by hemangiosarcoma at 11 1/2 years 6/12/17
