She looks very content. I like that she is resting on the carpeted area. Smart girl!

Hi Jackie,
Today is chemo number three. The 2nd was a starter dose again as her white count was low so the DR recommended the lower dose.
They will do a blood test today before and let me know what dose but she is happy and eating good and doing great on three legs so I really couldn't ask for more.
Thank you for checking!
That is wonderful news 😎 . So glad she's doing well, thank you for letting us know!!

Hi Jackie,
Her white count was too low for the chemo so she is on antibiotics and will get chemo number three this coming Friday. They check her blood every week and I am going to ask the vet why they didn't put her on antibiotis at week 2 so she could get her chemo on week three instead of week 4?
I have a feeling the doctor didn't even review her 2 week blood work? She wasn't in the office and some young tech just said well her Platelets are low and there was no follow up from the doctors office?
This disease is relentless so I don't want to wait 4 weeks between chemo if we don't have to?
I put a call in to the Dr to discuss.
But she's doing well otherwise, right? Honestly I would rather see them wait until her count looks good so she doesn't get sick.
Even with antibiotics if the white blood cells are low it will be harder for her to fight anything off. It's the white cells that fight sickness and infection.
Take a good deep breath, you're doing so wonderful. Would love to get a new picture. 😎😎

Glad you are going to have a conversation with the Doc to clarfy and answer your questions.
For whatever it's worth, sometimes the treatmemts are delayed several weeks until the wbc goes down.
I know this is frustrating , vut not unheard of as far as a delay...or two. Not sure why antibiotics weren't given before , vut I'm sure the Vet can provide an explanation .
As Jaxkoe said....deep breath...and what's most impprtant, COOKIE IS FEELING GREAT!!
Lots of hugs
