Cabo update 5-1-2017

we started the low dose chemo Chlorabucil and she's tolerating that well.

She has started to show some lameness on the leg in the last few weeks, so at her re-visit today, radiographs were done again, lungs clear, all bloodwork is still really great, but looks like the tumor is affecting the bone....not osteosarcoma so she under went a zoledronic acid treatment to help aide with this.....we'll be heading back up to Michigan in the next few weeks and she already has her follow up appt with an oncologist there, so we'll keep on keeping on....she celebrated her 13th b'day April 28th, which was a JOY!  I"ll share my post to the Tripawds FB page.

HOPPY BIRTHDAY CABO! That's so pawesome! Don't forget to share your photos here too, we'd love to see them. Here's a post about adding images to the Forums.

I'm glad to hear she's doing pretty well otherwise. I love that you have her follow-ups already scheduled before you head north. Nice job being her advocate! Hopefully the bisphosphonate treatment will make a huge difference.

In the meantime, if it's OK with you, we hope you'll start a new topic in another forum since Cabo has graduated from "diagnosis" stage. It makes it easier to follow along if that makes any sense. Thanks so much!
