Yep, Walky is snug as can be. This makeshift bed looks more comfy than my own bed!
Nice to have the perspective of your friend on the progress Wally is making 😎
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Hey guys,
So more good news on Wally! I sent pics of the incision site and a video of him walking to the surgeon for evaluation today, and the surgeon was happy with how the incision had healed and for the most part lifted Wally's restrictions. He recommended to continue to use the cone as needed for the next 2-3 days, so I'll plan on putting his donut on for the next couple of days if I have to go out or leave the room for awhile. Also, I'm supposed to gradually return him to normal activity, so I'll ease him in on his walks.
Bad news for Wally is that he's going to lose his comfy living room mattress here this evening, lol.
He has his first chemo treatment tomorrow, so I'll probably start a new thread in the Treatment, Recovery, and Oncology forum.
Thanks again for all of the advice and support! You guys rock!!

WHEEEE! You did it! What a big ol wonderful milestone Wally and you have reached, this is such great news!
Good luck with chemo today, we'll keep our paws crossed that it's uneventful and easy peasy for Wally. Thanks for starting a new topic!
