I know that others have done agility training with their dogs. Hopefully they will chime in. Ensuring you have a good rehab plan to help keep Arya in tip top condition would be a good idea I think.
She looks so happy .
Karen and Spirit Magnum
Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle. Magnum's motto - "Dream as if you'll live for ever, live as if you'll die today" (James Dean). Loyal, loving, courageous and spirited to the end. My beloved heart dog, see her memoirs from Rainbow Bridge ...... http://princess.....pawds.com/
Oh now she is one happy Tripawd! Wow I love those pics! May we use them in our photo gallery?
As for making sure she stays fit and healthy, have you seen our Tripawds Gear blog? There are tons of great articles in there about fitness, agility, etc. Just search for these terms and you'll come up with everything from how to make a homemade agility course to staying strong and fit. Also, our CARE videos about canine rehab will be of great benefit.
Thanks so much for coming back to update about Arya. Don't be a stranger, we want to hear more, she looks like a lot of fun!
