A little fun at the training center after a odor detection practice! 2 1/2 months post amputation!

And first odor detection practice at my club.

We are a bit rusted, need some handling practice with the new gait! But he knows and remembers what he need to find!

You both did GREAT! Wow! He blew through the tunnel like lightening! And to watch him work with the scent detection, that was so fun. He got it quick!

Thank you so much for sharing these!

It is soooo much fun watching how halpy and playful ne is! He actuaw LIKES goie thru the tunnel so much he uses it as a play toy!

And he is BRILLIANT on the nose work! And, again, sooo happy! 🙂

Tug of war?? No problem for Novak!! He and his buddy wear me out just watching them! He has so much strength!

You zrnd Novak are proving over and over having three legs does not interfere with a dog living life to the fullest!!! Novak is having an absolute blast!!

The bond you two jave is beautiful to watch!

Thank you so much for sharing these fun videos that show everyone how a dog adapts to three egs with gusto!!

With appreciation,

6 months post op!

Novak was so happy to run free! It was all ice on the lake or wooded trails, so no walk for mister for a long time 🙁 but now, they were a bit of snow to cover all that ice and finally we could go for a walk!

Purrkins' video is very inspirational, indeed!  Well done!

Lisa, Minneapolis

On October 27, 2016, nearly 6 months after amputation, and 18 months since his cancer likely started, we lost Pofi to a recurrence of Soft Tissue Sarcoma in his spine quite suddenly.  His canine sister also succumbed to cancer on March 1, 2019 - we lavished her with our love in the interim, but life was never quite the same without her only real canine friend. Cliff kitty had to leave us, too, suddenly, in August 2019. Lucia kitty grieved all these losses, but helped us welcome two new Lurchers into our home and our lives, Shae and Barley.

Help.  I'm trying to post a video of Nilla 4 days post-op (URL from Youtube) but I keep getting a message saying that the video contains an iframe, which is not allowed.  What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for sharing it with us Jill. I think you are trying to "embed video" instead of just sharing the URL. Go to the "Share" option, lower right corner underneath the video I believe, and copy the URL then paste it here, it should automatically show up. Can't wait!

He is doing great!! My dog Remy is about 20 days post op. Had left front leg amputation and is getting around much like Sebastian.

I'll get a video clip to send in the morning. I'm concerned about his constant neck bobbing. Worried it will get painful. I am doing some massage on him twice a day. It's amazing how adaptable they are. Your Sebastian looks great!

I love seeing these Tripawds in the video clips. So grateful to have this site to come to. I especially like to watch and read right before going to bed so I don't lie and worry.

Thank you everyone!!
