Awww he's like "Mom let me PLAY! Summer won't last forever!"

You're doing great, and he is just amazing.

Day 14 is finally over! Staples are out and to celebrate, I let him outside with the gang! He was so happy, but my heart stopped when he fell while trying to play with Vega... yike! I can see that he cannot stop the way he stop before while running to get a ball or another dog, he always goes a bit further out to stop, did you notice that in your dogs?

Awesome, Novak!  Clearly an athlete to start with.  So comfortable on 3 legs.

Congrats to all!

These videos are absolutely spectacular!! WOW! Talk about a dog living life to the fulles...NOVAK IS THAT DOG!!

I love how he keeps looking at you in the first video basically asking you to give him that red ball!

His swimming style is perfect! 🙂 Novak really made it look so eeffortless. He really is a good swimmer. And then when he was swimming, he looked like he was trying to convince you to co e to shore with him. He is obviously very, very loual and protective of you.

You had a lovely vacation spot...sp.peaceful...so beautiful. I hope you and Novak can go there more often. I think it does you both good.
. You shoukd be so proud of your boy...And yourself!

Tha ms for taking the time to share these. We LOVE them!

HUGS!

You have won our hearts Novak, it's beautiful to watch you making the most of life!

I'm so jealous you're in a place that's got warm lake water. Here in Colorado high in the mountains, it's always too cold to swim with Wyatt Ray like that. Enjoy!

First little walk with his buddy Sully, didn't bring all the pack, wanted to have a "slow" walk. The only thing bothering me is the on leash part, Novak can't walk normally so he's pulling in the harness to hop faster, so its hard on me LOL

Okay, okay! I have to sr4op watching because it has me grinning ear to ear so big it's making my face hurt!big-grin

Walking this path with you and Novak and Sully is memorizing! It's such a beautiful place for eeveryone to be out in nature.

Novak has a very, very fluid gait! He makes it all look so effortless! And he is sooooooooooooooooooooo happy!

It tickles me how he kept going back for Sully, then trotting ahead and going back for you and repeating. Just ADORABLE! Sully's a good looking pup too!

This is a great video chronicling how happy dogs are and how well they do in three legs!

Love his booties! He's so darn cute in them!

Lots of hugs!

I LOVE watching him romp! He's like "Who can keep up with ME? Not YOU!"

And he walks SO well in dog boots. Very impressive.

My mom in the background yelling "Ruby no swimming!!😂😂"

Ruby is my (almost) 8 year old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. She had her left forelimb amputated due to cancer on July 28, 2016 and we are on the road to recovery!

On October 27, 2016, nearly 6 months after amputation, and 18 months since his cancer likely started, we lost Pofi to a recurrence of Soft Tissue Sarcoma in his spine quite suddenly.  His canine sister also succumbed to cancer on March 1, 2019 - we lavished her with our love in the interim, but life was never quite the same without her only real canine friend. Cliff kitty had to leave us, too, suddenly, in August 2019. Lucia kitty grieved all these losses, but helped us welcome two new Lurchers into our home and our lives, Shae and Barley.

Yay Ruby, what a beautiful place for her! She's a retreiver, sue the water is calling her LOLOL

For Novak, yes he was already use to boots, you see the path, its hard on the pads and because he's a crazy dog, the pads were always tearing, so I put boots on him very early on with him and he never mind them, that dog is incredible, vest, harness, boots, whatever, he doesn't care!

Awwww pure joy! I love seeing Ruby get out and about! And she's so good for actually listening to you and not going in the water. Imagine! What lake is that? Talk about good medicine for the mind and body.

Novak is a rock star. Does he wear Halloween costumes too?!
