OMD.  You wouldn't believe how many rugs I have one end of the house to the other!  3-leggers slip easily on hard surfaces (which is what I have everywhere except the living room).  I have carpet runners all over and even a big area rug in the kitchen. LOL

My runners have rubber backing so they won't slip around so much on the floor.  Something else that works really well are yoga mats -- they are pretty inexpensive, too.

Zeus' mom Lisa one time said she had so many it looked like a clown threw up in her house. laughing

Oh thats hilarious, the clown yack lol.

I mentioned the non slip stuff because I had a really serious fall about 3 years ago maybe? It wouldnt have been so bad if I had been at the vodka but what happened was I use a lot of vet bed, which is great but lethal on top of lino and I had thrown it in the hall.... half way to the washing machine, as you do.... but hadnt quite got round to picking it up... walked over it, went to turn right into the front room and did some really impressive funky pirouette kung fu type moves, I got up close and personal with some walls and a door frame before slam dunking from about waist height straight down onto the base of my back and actually lost the feeling in my bottom half for a couple of minutes.... actually thought I had broken my back that time.... couldnt move, scared out of my mind because I couldnt feel anything from the waist down, nowhere near a phone... the phone might as well have been in timbukto... I knew if it was a spine injury I should keep still but cold makes me spasm and I was on a cold floor.... after a couple of miniutes I did manage to roll and crawl but I dont think I will have a career as a stunt woman.... though I reckon if that had been an audition I would have got the contract because I am hyper mobile so when I pull funky moves they really are some serious shapes I pull lol. So the importance of non slip mats, even if you use double sided tape to stick the suckers down, just do it because a flying lesson wasnt part of my plans that day :o )
