Cheeto is about 2 years old, we think a mix of american bulldog and hound. His favorite activity is bouncing like tigger and counter surfing. No food is safe! Hubby had bread laid out for grilled cheese the other day and he just scooped them all up! Anyway he has been kept crated since surgery with leash walks to potty. I have relaxed a little last few days with letting him in our small fenced area off leash to potty but have been keeping him crated in the house because he is such a ball of energy!

Here is my question; Should we start getting back in our normal routine tomorrow? The only big difference would be instead of being crated he would be allowed to be with 4 of the pack, either in our (huge) hallway or back yard. I know I am going to have to babygate the stairs so he cant run up and down at will but also hoping to sleep upstairs in my bed. This couch is killing me!

Someone will chime in.  I just don't know what to tell you to do when not home.  I'm so hyper-vigilant, so my advice might be bad.
