I've gotten a few doses of both Cerenia and his appetite stimulant down him. That wasn't fun. He still hasn't eaten since Tuesday night. I have a call into his Oncologist now, waiting for word back. We may try Entyce. He's lost all of the leg muscle he gained back. We can't even think about PT again until he's eating regularly. It's been a long 2 1/2 months. He still seems happy, just very tired. He's still drinking.

Awww poor buddy! I'm so sorry for the struggle. I hope Entyce will help.

One thing I'm not sure I've mentioned: Have you tried a pill gun

So glad your dad is out of the hospital! Maybe Riot will start eating now that the pack is back together?!

Thank you. We have tried the pill gun. If a pill isn't in a ball of something edible, he'll cough until he vomits it up. He'll still sometimes do that with food, but not as often. He's been off his food several times in his life. This is by far the worst, and the most critical that he does eat.

Maybe a dose of subQ fluids ...either at rhe Vet or you can do at home.  Sometimes  a dose can perk pf rhe appetite,  even if they arent dehydrated.

Thankfully he's drinking enough the vet didn't think that would be necessary. He called in some Entyce. I'll pick it up after work. Fingers crossed. He warned me it tastes terrible.

Wow! I think he's the hardest case we've seen here. But together we can hopefully find a solution! Let us know how the Entyce works. Had no idea of the bad taste. That makes no sense. Ugh.

Yeah. He's spent his whole life living up to his name. The vet wasn't happy it doesn't taste good. Hopefully I can squirt it far enough back in his throat it doesn't come out. If he would eat, I'd hide it.

So, good news! Riot ate a bit of stew last night, and some kibble early this morning. I'm going to stick with the Mirtrazapine for now, but I still have the Entyce as well, if he doesn't eat later.

Thank you both. More good news. He's eaten some more stew, and some chicken. No more kibble, but hopefully soon. Also some treats. He also has a bit more energy now that he's starting to eat again.

He's still eating small amounts. I wish he'd take in a bit more, but it's way better than nothing. I'm picking up some hamburger and canned hash tonight, as he'll sometimes eat that. I started a FB page for him. Riot Rocking the Tripod Life. I post there every couple of days.

So, Entyce seems to be the way we're going to go. He didn't just eat yesterday, he enjoyed it. I'm calling to get a refill. We only got four days.
