I met a couple who took their dog to a Holistic / Veterinarian, they are coming up on two years since diagnosis of osteosarcoma ( 10 months before surgery was required and now a year since amputation) with no chemotherapy . Just a herbal supplement called ES-4, I believe one ingredient was from a mushroom ?? and a raw or freeze dried food diet. Their boy looked amazing at 10 years old and 1 year post op. The couple said the cancer was actually shrinking in their follow up appointments. I have few details but made an appointment at that vet for this Sat.
I think { ES-4 } stands for a group of products, guessing 4 of them, that make up a balanced attack on what ever they are targeting ie cancer, immune issues, gastro, etc. It was a liquid, I think he said, that they just put in the food.
We have a pair of Malamutes and both now have osteosarcoma with lung mets. I don't expect miracles but hope to think there is something out there that could at least make our time left with our loved ones a little better for them.
We have read so many claims of cancer remission with a certain type product or another and you just don't know... info I get here has been spot on, honest and from the hart.
Any info on this or like products would be helpful.
Terry, Allison, Mya, Macleod
Didn't really find much when I tried googling it. I did find a couple of forms similar to ES 4 on Amazon. Whether it's the same or not, I don't know. There was a liquid in there that had mixed reviews.
Maybe others will chime in with specific info. That's a fascinating encounter you had with the dog that was doing so well!! Very promising!
I know ow others have tried Yunnan Buno (or somthing close to that) a d have felt it has been helpful. It is a mixture of mushrooms.
Goodness knows, you are doing EVERYTHING POSSIBLE for your precious Mya and precious Macleod! You really have a double whammy going on and I'm so sorry.
I know from your blogs that things are not going well. I saw from a reply you made to another post today that Mya's time in her earth clothes may be limited. I also know that you had to go because she was "chattering" to tell you she wanted to go out, or to eat! That bit of spunk had to make you smile.
I REALLY, REALLY hooe you get some good feedback from the Vet Saturday. I know you were trying to get in earlier than Sat...so keep calling everyday just in case there is a cancellation!!
Keeping all paws crossed for a good outcome! We're all sending pawsitive energy to sweet Mya and Macleod!!
Love and hugs to all the pack!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Gosh I still can't get over the two dogs have osteo at the same time, unreal. You are amazing for the love and care you give to them. I know it's a ruff time.
When I searched for ES-4 I came up with ES CLEAR™ FOR DOGS. Are you sure it's not that product? If so, here's a discussion about it in our Forums.
