So sorry for your loss. It sucks to lose them so early. But, then, there's never "enough" time is there? That's why we all have to remember to hug them and love them and make the most of the time we have - and it sounds like that is exactly what you did.

Hope the happy memories replace the tears sooner than you think they will.

All the best, off to hug my girl. Sending virtual hugs and Abby kisses back out to you guys.

Jackie, Abby's mom

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!

Hello Kim,

as you might have noticed, I haven`t been on tripawds lately... and just now, with Horis anniversary started browsing again looking what has become of her friends. I am amazed and happy for those still battling and incredibly sad for those who have gone.

I am really sorry for your loss and had not realized, that Caya had her problems too, I guess Tika just stole her show always... You are seriously brave to have coped with two such losses.

I wish you all the best for you and Tim and your remaining fur family.

Hugs from the south,

Cecilia and Spirit Horacia

Spirit Horacia, Castaño, Olympia + human family Cecilia, Georg and Julia - - - Hori first diagnosed 8/6/09, ampu 8/12/09, run over the bridge 9/10/09 – We miss you every day dear girl!
