Thank you to alll. Your words humble me. I had no idea how many people actually read about Ted and his adventures. He was quite a boy, you only read the tip of the iceburg. He was a very funny boy too. Ted made sure his siblings were where they were suppose to be before he settled. To give you an example, each night before bed all dogs had to go out of course. Ted would escort Izzy to her door, then he would escort Missy and Hank to their door. Then he would go back to his door and go out. He would get on the top step, look back as if to say, "Well, are you coming too?" Of course, Tom or I or both would go out with him. Back inside we all would come. All four dogs would sit for their evening treat before bed. As the dogs finished, up the stairs they would go. Ted would be last, he would not even go up the stairs until Tom was ready to come to bed. Ted would do basically the same thing everytime we came home. He would escort us to the crates where Hank and Missy were, he wanted to be sure they were taken care of first. Then the escort to the doors would happen.
He was quiet a boy. He will be missed by all.
Rest in Peace my golden boy!!!
He was a good guardian!
I know you miss him terribly and hopefully your pain will turn to smiles soon.
Lots of hugs coming your way.

She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
