hi tripawd family, it has been a little while since we’ve checked in and it is with the heaviest of heart..we lost our beloved Sadie today after an incredible fight against osteosarcoma for the past 7 months.

She is already so missed, but she will always be with us.

Thank you all so much for the kindness the last half year and all the guidance as we became tripawd owners. You’re support, and this entire site was such a beautiful light.

today we say cheers to you Sadie, love you more than you know.

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing our furbabies is the worst. Sadie is such an inspirational pup, and you did everything to take the best care possible for her. That beautiful white mug of hers always looked so happy and full of love.

Sadie is whole again, and I have no doubt you spoiled her rotten heart She is pain free now and no doubt being shown around by all of our Angels.

Sending you big hugs, I wish you comfort through such a dark time.

Jackie and Huckleberry heart

Hugs,

Jackie, Bo, Andy, Oscar, Phoebe, and the coolest feral tripawd kitty Huckleberry

Lauren, we are deeply sorry for your loss, I was so sad to read this. No doubt your heart is breaking, she was truly a special girl.

Sadie was a true warrior, I loved she showed the world how to make the most of life despite the challenges in her way. She was a rock star in every way and now she is a star in the heavens, always guiding our Tripawd heroes on their own journeys. We will miss her tremendously. Thank you for being part of our community, it's an honor.

The day after Sadie’s amputation I told my husband that I regretted our choice to amputate, I felt it was so cruel and barbaric. But then something happened..Sadie got stronger and stronger, literally by the hour. She became herself. She possesses  a confidence and perseverance that is truly remarkable. -- Sadie's 4 Week Ampuversary

Someone told me today, “this is the worst part of the best part of your life” 💔

And Lauren said.......but she will always be with us

It breaks our hearts to hear our sweet Sadie  had to run to the Bridge .   She had such great extended bonus time because you made the brave loving decision to remove that bum leg.  And she was so grateful ❤   And Sadie  knew that, when she told you she was ready, you would make the brave loving decision to release her from her failing  earth clothes.

Sweet, gentle Sadie knew how to fight like a Warrior and shine like the RockStar she was born to be💖   And Sadie knew how to pick the  best hoomans in the world to show her what it felt like to be loved so fiercely and so exquisitely.  And when you picked Sadie, you got to experience the same.

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful  Soul with us.  She will ALWAYS be an inspiration  for anyone starting this journey.  And your ability to grasp the importance of living in  the now and making every moment count will also inspire  others to focus on how to Be More Dog 💖

Surrounding you with our love and Sadie's eternal light

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

So sad and very sorry to hear about Sadie.  She'll live on forever as a Tripawd ambassador after her interview in Fetch magazine.  Thank you so much for sharing these words:

“this is the worst part of the best part of your life”

They really were meaningful to see, and really define all we go through when we lose our loves.

Sending hugs at this hard, hard time heartheartheart

Fallon  8/28/06--9/6/18.  My Heart.

Fallon's left front leg was amputated due to osteosarcoma on 10/11/17.

I'm sorry to hear about your Sadie. Sending prayers and thoughts to you and your family during this time.

You are right, she'll always be around... be sure to smile and tell her "good puppy" when she makes her presence known (and she'll do it quite often I'm sure!)
