I don't know what to say....I sent you an email Tana...my heart just aches for you....we are going thru another one of those periods and sometimes it seems like there are just not enuf tears.
Please share with all those who will be coming to join our family (reluctantly) the humor and wisdom you have gained and know that Sophie is now pain free and looking for an unaware couch there at the Bridge...
Tana,
I'm so sorry to hear about Sophie... My tears are flowing as I write this... I'm always so sad when I read about another tripawd member loosing their battle... but for some reason, whenever it's another golden... it really gets to me. Guess it's because my Jake was a golden too, and it just brings back all those sad memories... Jake also declined so quickly in the end... We all know it's going to happen in the end... but we just never expect it when the times comes.
I loved the video of Sophie riding in her beautiful chariot... Made me smile and cry at the same time... You are in my thoughts and prayers Tana... Rest in peace sweet golden angel Sophie... I know that your brother Keaton met you at the Rainbow Bridge and will keep you company until you see your mom again! I hope that you get to meet my Jake while you're there... Tell him I love him and miss him so...
Sending you a big loving hug!!!
Angel Jake and Wolfie's Mom
Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie. Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou.....ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!
Thank you all for your kind words. It has been a difficult day.
I can feel Sophie with me - she's been with me all day. She always knew when I was upset and followed me around. I hope she goes and plays at the Bridge soon.

"Going Dog" def: living every day in the moment
"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are."

Tana, I am so sorry to read that Sophie lost her battle today. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Jo Ann & Tasha
Tasha 8 years old, First cancer diagnosis 6/26/09, Last cancer diagnosis 9/26/09, Amputation 10/01/09, Loving our girl moment by moment.
Tasha lost her battle and became my Angel on May 4 2011. Forever in my heart….
Tana, I am so sorry you have to go through this! Sophie was (bah, still is! I believe they never really leave...) just a doll! The strength you had to wish me and Jack well while at the same time Sophie was sick is just amazing...the world is happier because of people like you 🙂 Your loss is huge, but is it really a loss at all? Sophie's experience made you who you are today, and for that, she will ALWAYS be a part of you...you haven't lost anything, but rather gained more love, understanding, and compassion in these past months than most people will in their lifetime. Please know that we are all here for you. I am so sorry.
<3 Laura
I am so sorry to hear about Sophie. I totally believe that she's with you, wanting to make sure you're going to be OK. I have been feeling Daisy with me too.
Sending you comfort and peace.
Lexi
Daisy, 12 years young, had left forelimb amp on 5/19/2010 due to osteosarcoma. She left her body behind and joined the other spirit tripawds on 7/16/2010.
So grateful for each day with her!

Tana, we are so sorry Sophie left so soon.
We watched her chariot video again and through the tears we smiled.
Hopefully time will fill the crater left in your heart and you'll be able to smile as you watch your girls video.
Sending you Golden hugs and well wishes,
Shelby the P.P.
Oh Tana, I so sorry.

We too are very saddened to hear that Sophie's journey ended so soon. It's also especially hard to see another golden gone, as they hold a very special place in my heart. I think there is a "Golden" party going on at Rainbow Bridge, as so many have arrived there recently. Through this difficult time, try to remember all the joy that Sophie brought to you. I loved the video, but it was hard to see through the tears.
Sending you a big hug!
Cathy/Jane/Chloe
I am really sorry to hear about Sophies passing.....its a difficult time,I could say maybe one most difficult some of us will ever experience in life.
But you can be sure she is with you now as well and will watch over you forever. Free of pain, tablets, and this awful illness that took so many of our lovely fur babies.
Well yes,sad but true,am sure there is a Golden party over there. At least we know they are all watching over each other 🙂
Hugs and prayers,
Daniela, Angel Dons Mum
I'm so sad for you Tana,
Sophie was a lucky girl. I'm sure my Ruthie was there to greet her and show her the way around the place. I know my words cannot help ease your pain. But know we all are so sorry Sophie lost the battle.
Take care, and you are in our thoughts,
Spirit Ruthie's Mom,
Pat
I am so very sorry for your loss! Far to many of our beloved dogs are being lost to this dreaded disease. I know for sure that my precious Tehya was there to meet Sophie as she crossed the bridge and they are now running free with a lot of other Tripawd angels.
Sincerely,
Darlene (Angel Tehya's Mom)
