Awww…such a sweet, sweet memory.  Although I think Roane  may  have been teaching his boy about the frog😊😊   She is, after all, an expert.

Every decision  you made was out of love.  Every one.  We all can vouch  for that.

As far as routines, oh mj goodness, we can relate.  And you m ow ehat? Of yoj fone yoirself beginning  a routine, or filling the food bowl, or whatever.  Do it.  I think that’s  another way they let us know they are still around.

Stay connected as you can.  It means a lot to us for you to allow is to be traveling by your side as we continue to celebrate Roane❤

What a sweet, sweet photo! Beautiful, and that is your grandson? Adorable sp_hearticon2

I don’t think we truly realize all the things that we do with our pets in mind until we no longer need to do them anymore. That is so hard. I have to take a day sometime soon here and pack a box of all the things I don’t need anymore. I have not gotten there yet, and I am not going to do it until I am good and ready. One day at a time, sometimes one emotion at a time. It is a process.

We all totally get it. That is what brought us all together to this one little place in the world, our furbabies. That is the largest, strongest bond that we all have is understanding that it’s not just a dog, just a cat. They are a family member.

Hang in there, we’re all with you. sp_hearticon2

That is sooooo sweet, thank you for that lovely glimpse into Roane’s life. She will always remain with the pack, and your grandsons will never forget her either.

Yes we totally get it. I remember how hard it was to fill my time in the mornings and evenings when I was so used to caring for Jerry and making his meals, giving supplements, and just loving him up. I felt lost for a long time. So no, you’re not odd or alone in this aspect of the journey, I think most of us have been there and remember what it was like. Take your time to heal, you’re on nobody’s timeline but your own.

I came home today to a package from my brother and sister in law. It immediately had me in tears but meant so much to me! In the box was a framed picture of Roane and isp_hearticon2I think im going to put it over my sewing desk since i spend so much time there. Her bed is next to my chair so she could  “help sew.”

That is just beautiful. What a thoughtful, heartfelt thing to do. I can see why your eyes filled up, mine did too. Great place for it, near a favorite spot.

Love that picture! ((((((hug))))))) hard to find words for that. I am so glad you shared, thank you.

This was a normal evening for roane and i. Outside chores then a sit down and belly scratching on the livingroom floor. The look on her face says it all lol. “Mom is being silly again.”

If im not mistaken, this photo was taken after spending the day outside doing firewood. Which usually involved me putting the wood in the shed and roane taking it back out! Roane loved a good stick, everytime i brought wood into the house she would sit in front of the hearth and stare at the kindling and wag her tail. I’d usually give in and tell her she could pick a piece. She would sniff them all over and when she found the right one she would jump up grab the stick and run into the livingroom like she had the best prize ever! Her best stick was very frequently a HUGE piece of firewood! The whole family calls kindling “happy sticks” because she always had a collection in the livingroom.

Moe is a bit off still. Keeping a close eye on me but not in his usual demanding, high maintenance way. Its more like hes trying to stay close just incase i need him. ❤ we’ve had some good chats and snuggles. If i sit down he’s in my lap! The snuggling says alot, he’s a pat me but don’t pat me kind of cat. 3 head scratches and thats enough he bites you.

He finally consented to sleep in the bedroom 😉

He’s a smart kitty, I knew I liked him 😘 He reminds me of my Oscar kitty. Oscar is high demand, very vocal, but at the end of the day I always find him sleeping between my ankles, lol. He’s a mush but he just doesn’t want you to know that 😏
