So, I've heard many of you talk about seeing pennies (or change) as a sign that your fur-angel paid you a visit. I also remember saying, shortly after Harmony left us, that she doesn't send me signs like that. I also said that I was a bit thick in the head and didn't pay attention when I should so Harmony's signs had to be a bit more significant for me to notice, LOL!
Harmony passed on our living room floor on a quilt pallet with the hub-a-dub and myself by her side. We (and Meesha) have seen her spirit in the house, but we've since moved and haven't "seen" her for over a month.
Now that we're celebrating her angelversary this month, she's been on our minds and in our conversations. However, there's been no sign . . . until yesterday.
I was at work and went to the restroom after my morning coffee. As a habit, I will typically unwrap the next TP roll to put on the dispenser, even if there's no need to. I think this is a left over habit from when I ran my own business and maintained the restrooms.
Any-hoo, as I freed the roll from its paper wrapper, I saw something. What tha heck??? . . . There was a shinny penny in the paper that was packaged around the TP roll.
That's not just a sign, that's a blunt slap in the face!!! I'm sure the folks walking in the hallway were weird-ed out when they heard me laughing hysterically behind the restroom door!
Harmony became a Tripawd on 10/21/14 (MCT). She left us way too soon on 11/1/14.

That is a good sign. Sometimes we need a huge slap in the face to get the point across. They send us signs and we just don't recognize them so to get our attention they send signs like the penny in the TP. But you are probably right Pam your co-workers probably think your nuts but don't worry you are in good company here 🙂

WOWser.... I've been away all week and this is the first post I clicked on and BOOM... if that isn't a sign... I don't know what is. What a beautiful thing to see in the potty! 🙂
I know my friends / family / co-workers think I am nutty when I go batty over a penny on the street but this is a perfect sign ! YAY!!!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Boy! Talk about a SPECIFIC and very personal sign from Harmony...OMD!! The timing....the way Harmony presented you with the message....magical!
I think she is also letting you know she is with you WHEREVER YOU are!! She wanted to make that very clear!!
I'm sure when you moved, you had "mixed emotions" about leaving the House of Harmony. Well now Harmony has made it known that her "home" is safely tucked in your heart always.
This must makes me soooo happy! The backstory to her message nust blows my mind. Like you, I hadn't gotten any real "slap in the face" message from my Happy Hannah...until that little mini Rainbow that showed up right over her ramp. Yep, that was pretty "hannah specific" mist like your bathroom adventure was "Harmony specific"! I just love this post!! LOVE IT!!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Oh my dog that is TOTALLY a sign!!! Too funny. And I agree, we often need to be slapped around by our angel dogs to remind us that every day is a great day. Exactly what Jerry did to us when we drove across Wyoming recently.

TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
