Awwww... baby rottweilers...  The cutest things on earth.  I'm not partial or anything...  I know how you feel.  When I got Miles it was so bittersweet.  I cried a good part of driving that last leg home on Cannonpaw.  Sad that it wasn't Raven next to me, but happy to have a new soul to love.

Are you possibly going to be coming through Auburn, CA, on your way to get your new baby?  I am about an hour from Vacaville, east on I-80.  🙂

Rottie Raven, osteosarcoma at 8-1/2 years old, amputation in October '09 and in February '10 due to liver mets he went back to heaven where he came from.  raven.tripawds.com

Now I have Miles, rottie mix amputee from a shelter and traveled 1500 miles to find his way here through the Rescue Railroad thanks to tripawds.com.  miles.tripawds.com

I am so sorry to hear of your loss, but was happy to read that your pack will be growing again. I know we'll get 2 sisters again, just don't know when. Sending you lots of golden hugs!

Congrats on the new additions- and you are brave for starting with puppies again!

I knew when Maggie passed that her little sister needed a companion.  I adopted a pug boy, Obie, who was 4 at the time.  I didn't think Tani or I could handle a puppy!

I will say that in those first few months having two black pugs again, but Mag not being there was sometimes hard.  In some ways I think it made me miss her more.  I often found myself saying 'Maggie never did that' or 'Maggie learned that much faster'.  But as I came to accept her loss I was able to accept Obie on his own.

And after 10 years of calling the pack 'the girls' we find ourselves still doing it with Tani and Obie.  It's Ok though- Obie is not the manliest of pugs big-grin.

Please be sure to post pics when you get your puppies!

That is too funny! My sister has a long haired chihuahua who is very prissy! Peanut his sidekick who is a girl is a LOT more DOG than he is! hahaha

Mary and I took a drive down south today to visit with the first of our new puppies. Everyone, meet Max..

Max is 6.5 weeks old at the moment (He's a big boy!) and will be coming home to us on the 26th. I was really unsure about the timing on this, but alas, all it really took was a bit of puppy kisses to convince me otherwise..
