Four months? Wow. I'm glad you came back to tell us how things have been. No doubt Christmas was an emotional time for all of you. But it's clear that Toddy IS still around, he's just in a different form! Now his spirit can be with the pack forever and even when and if you decide to rearrange his things or whatever, that love between you isn't going anywhere.
Give lots of smooches to your Smoochie from us, what a doll.

So glad you came back. We know Christmas was hard....we know every day is hard. As you said though, it does lessen.
Tosee Toddy's special Christmas remembrance is such a beautiful way to keep him with you for the holidays. I love that your son put his stuffed doggie in the crate to help keep Toddy in his memory. Your boys had such a special relationship with him.....and still do.
Tell your sons to be watching for the first signs of the Tulip bulbs to be popping up. Maybe not quite yet, but soon. I hope you'll come back and post photos when they do.
Smoochie feels Toddy's presence in his bed. Dogs can feel that kind of energ that we can't see.
Sending love to all
