This may have already been posted, but when I saw it today it made me think of all my Tripawd friends who have lost their beloved pets too and how we can all relate to his words.

Tears flowng.....soooooo beautiful. And delivered from the heart from an icon who always spoke to...and from..the heart.

I have my BOdie...my very, very senior Bodie, sittng by my side as I'm watchig thks. Many nights also feel Bodie starng at me ...sometimes, f I don't wake up with just sensing his gaze, he'll gently, ever so gently, touch my face with his paw. I rearrange myself so he can get in just the right sleeping position with me where we just "merge" back to sleep...both of us feeling very reassured. These moments are slipping away from us very fast now. This video means a lot.

Thank yo for sharing Patricia...very, very sweet.

Love,

Sally a d Happy Hannah

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Thank  you so much for sharing this.  This poem is so beautiful, I totally understand how he feels and how he misses his dog.  I know I do the same thing with Sassy.

This is where we date ourselves. I remember watching that back then with my shelter adoptee, a feisty mixed terrier Jenny in college. A beautiful eloquent poem delivered by one of my favorites, jimmy Stewart an absolute gentlemen. Still as beautiful.

One of the talk radio hosts here is a big dog guy, and he plays that from time to time. Always makes me weepy. Thank you for posting it <3

Oh how sweet.  I love this poem and I love that he was getting teary on television.  The pain we experience from loosing our furry best friends is so real, so raw.  I hope with all the hope in the world, that one day we will all be re-united with our precious animals.

Thank you for sharing this.

With love to this wonderful community,

Kassi {with sweet Nesta forever in her heart}
