Thank you Judy!  I appreciate you thoughts also!

But please - I don't want anyone to think she died yesterday!  It's been over a year now!  I think Ellen got confused and pulled up her very old post!

Thank you!

*A note to the newer members - please don't feel sad or feel like you missed this post.  Comet died January of 2011 and there is some confusion it was recent!   I do appreciate your thoughts but I don't want you to think you missed this!

.

I'm sure Comet is having a good chuckle that after all this time she is still getting attention! big-grin

Her Retired AvatarComet - 1999 to 2011

She departed us unexpectedly  January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.

She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

I’m so sorry for your loss of your dog Comet.   My son gave me a reading when our lab Mike was dx with osteosarcoma in May/June this year. “I have sometimes thought on the final cause of dogs having such short lives and I am quite satisfied it is in compassion to the human race; for if we suffer so much in losing a dog after an acquaintance of ten or twelve years, what would it be if they were to live double that time?
