I wanted to let you all know that heaven got another very special angel tripawd this morning. Tuesday night Tehya’s tumor burst on her toe and she seemed to be doing ok until last night when she let us know it was time. So this morning we set her free to cross the Rainbow Bridge and run pain free with all of her four legged friends that went before her and all of the wonderful Tripawd friends that she met in her journey. I know that Miss Cherry was there waiting for her along with one very special friend that she had for many years Kaydee bears.
I will do a tribute for her in a couple of days so you can all enjoy some of the memories that we hold dear to our hearts. Thank once again for all of the amazing support.

Tehya pawents,

Thank you for posting over here.  I just read your blog and was so very sad.

It's just so heartbreaking.

Again, I am so very, very sorry.

Darlene,
I posted a note on your blog too but just wanted you to know again how very, very sad we are to hear about Tehya. She was such an incredibly special tripawd and gave such a good fight til the end. I just can't stop the tears. We will miss her so much. We are thinking of you during this very difficult time.
Love and hugs from across the border. Kami and Mackenzie

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!

Oh my gosh we are so very sorry, we just can't believe it. These decisions are the hardest ones for humans to make, but they are the most compassionate as well.

May Teyha's spirit soar high among the clouds, may she run free forever with our Spirit Tripawd warriors.

We send our love and condolences your way. Please know we are thinking of you and here if you want to talk.

I am so sorry and, like Jerry, I couldn't believe it when I saw the heading. As Jerry said (that Jerry is SO smart!), it was the most compassionate thing to have done. But I know how much you will miss her. We will too! We always love to hear about Tehya. Take care of yourself as best you can.

I am so so sorry to read your news.  I knew with the new tumor things didn't sound good but didn't expect it to be so soon.  My heart just breaks for you.  The decision you made to let her go is one of the most difficult things you will ever have to do and the last thing you could do to show her how much she was loved.  Please know that you are in my prayers.

I am so sad reading this.  I can only imagine how difficult it is for you.  My wish for you, as with all that lose their battle, is that you will find peace in the beautiful memories you shared.

RIP sweet Tehya.  Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Darlene and family,

It just doesn't seem fair, you lost your beautiful girl too soon.  The only dog Zoe ever got along well with was a female Golden, I like to think they will meet at the entry gate , start playing like young pups again, 4 legged and pain free.  I remember reading your post when you first found this website.  I could tell how loved Tehya was.  You guys were great parents, find comfort in knowing you did all you could do for her.  I am so very sorry.

I just read that Tehya had to leave you and for that I am so very sorry.  Your decision to release her from her pain had to be very difficult but was done because of the love you had for your girl. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. RIP sweet Tehya you will be missed by all.

Words can not express the sorrow that we feel just now at the loss of Tehya and hope that you will accept our deepest sympathy at this time.  Tehya was an extremely beautiful, brave, courageous, spirited, and compasionate warrior, as was the entire family.  When we start down these journeys, we never now how long it will last, and I am so very glad that you filled every moment of that journey with as many memories as possible.  While I am sure that Miss Cherry will be there to greet Tehya because of their shared special date, I am also sure that like her Daddy, Miss Cherry was praying that Tehya would be able to wait so very much longer to join all the others waitiing to welcome Tehya.  I know how hard it was to let this special angle go, but I also know that you can see in their face that the battle has drawn every remaining ounce of energy.  It never makes it easier, but you also know that releasing Tehya from that tired body was the best thing, at this time.

I will have to wait until we return home to read your blog, but reading anything just now is especially hard through my tears.  Because of Ginny and Paris, I knew when I logged onto the internet of this very sad event. I have to express my sincere support at this time. Please know that you will never be without Tehya for the gifts that Tehya gave you will last forever.

You will be in our hearts and prayers and we hope that you soon will be able to remember Tehya with a smile.
