I third that!    Thanks so much Di for sharing that beautiful experience about Abbey visiting you on her anniversary.  I'm sure Abbey and Jake are having a good old time with Jerry and all of our beloved spirit fur babies.  Our spirit fur babies DO find ways to communicate with us and yes… it is magical indeed. 

I received another visit from Jake this past Monday on my way back from picking up his remains (which by the way was the first time I felt angry over Jake's death).  It must have been the reality of seeing the urn and something inside me snapped and I became irritable and angry.   I had an hour car ride home with Smooch and Gus (3 month old puppy) to reflect on these feelings and I tried to just relax while I was driving by listening to the radio.  The sunset was amazing that evening and I kept thinking of Jake's spirit when I stared at it.  It seemed to calm me.  Then, as I was driving, I truly felt Jake's incredible presence with me.  I felt him burying his furry head into my neck and chest (like he did when he use to give me a hug).  I could smell him and it just felt heavenly.  It was quick but it left a smile on my face and I saw Smoochie (who was sitting right next to me) staring at me and then looked up as if he was following Jake's spirit float up.  I know longer felt angry… how could I?  I had just been visited by my sweet angel and he was reassuring me that he wasn't in that silly urn.  He is all around me in such beautiful ways… like in that amazing sunset!  What a blessing for us to be AWARE of their visits!
