He sounds like he is doing great!
How about the separation anxiety- is that any better?
Keep working with him on those stairs- or maybe try a small stool or a ramp. I know when I got Elly home at 10 months old she preferred to jump up on everything on her own, and she still jumps up on things sometimes. With her whole life ahead of her on three I am trying to keep her using the steps when possible to save wear and tear on the one back leg, however even at 4 years old she still has 'manic' moments when she races around the house and jumps up and down from furniture.
Looking forward to videos and pictures, we can never get enough! Oh, and be sure an post a like when Asher gets 'published'.

His separation anxiety is improving, probably because I haven't had to abandon him for more than an hour or two. Apart from running a few errands, he's either been at work with me or at home with me.
I was thinking about a ramp, or some kind of box for a single step. I think if he can have all three feet on the same level, he won't be so weirded out. I also want to get him on some supplements to keep that remaining back leg healthy and strong, and maybe start some exercises like paws120 suggested up there.

Awesome Asher, you are amazing and so inspawrational! What great progress you've made in such a short period of time.
I just realized that I don't think I mentioned our Tripawds Rehabilitation Therapy Reimbursement program with Tripawds Foundation . If you make an appointment to have Asher evaluated by an accredited rehab therapist, the Foundation will pay for your first rehab visit . Having him evaluated is so beneficial for us, it's a great way to learn the best exercises for him, and how to ensure that his joints stay as healthy and arthritis-free for a long, long time. Our Foundation blog has lots of examples of how rehab therapy has benefited Tripawd dogs and cats. We hope you'll take advantage of the program.
About ramps, check out this Tripawds Gear blog post to help get him used to the ramp/steps:

This started out as me asking for advice, but it's turned into me just showing off my dog. So I'm going to post that stuff in my blog instead: https://asher.t.....pawds.com/
What a sweetheart! And he’s so smart and curious. Love it. So pleased you found each other.
