I am still trying to get this little girl.
She will come when I call her, (little gray girl) no easy name yet. She will come get cheese within inches. She is very quick and I can't even pretend to move. The feeding person spent two different days trying to live trap her. Her sisters will step over plate and go in and get food.
Have you tried feeding her in the carrier? If not, do and continue to do so. Always feed in the carrier and put her cheese in there. Then, hopefully, you can close the carrier door one day. Maybe rig the carrier door with string rope, and you can pull that shut from a distance. Just an idea. Time and patience, you will succeed. I KNOW IT!! You continue to make progress thats what counts,
Thanks for the update!!!

Great idea! I love this one:

Finally an update on the now 1yr old feral girl, now known as Meeshu.
The feeding person has been petting her while she eats. Yesterday she just tells me, "I'm going to grab her". I got the carrier and stood it on end, she grabbed her by the scruff and put her in carrier and I shut door. There was no joy, I am kinda sad to take her away from her family. She made one frantic yowl (we have never heard her speak) and has been quite since. Overnight she came out of carrier for tuna. She would not come out for cheese this morning. Also at work her 'Momma' was waiting for me. I got cheese but she really did not care she just kept talking and talking to me as I petted her.
We have a vet appointment on Monday.
P.S. I could not think of a name. Then it hit me, "I will call you Meeshu". I spelled it in my Americanized as it sounds form. It means, 'Pretty' and/or 'Faithful'.
Aich great news! The patience you and her "feeder" have shown is to be applauded!
The name Meeshu and the interpretation is lovely.
Onward and upward! Thanks so much fpr caring so deeply for this kitty...
