Sending very pudgy thoughts your way Jill and no cheating - don't want Brudda putting a toe on the scale!

Luanne and Shooter

Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.

Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

OK, tomorrow is the day.  It's been 2 weeks off of Leukeran, so tomorrow Jill weighs in.  I won't sugar coat this, I'm NERVOUS.  Probably just as nervous as I get for a chest xray.  If she's lost any weight since the last visit, we need to proceed with the abdominal ultrasound and since her blood work checked out a-ok and she's pretty much eating, I'm nervous as hell as to what more weight loss could mean.

So, here's hoping for a weigh gain tomorrow.  She seems pretty relaxed about the whole thing, so I'll just continue to worry for her ;)

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Can we still donate? I've got lots and lots of ounces and pounds I can donate to the 'plump up Jill' campaign.

Hoping for the best news tomorrow Erica.

PEPPER! Not seeing the pictures and you KNOW how I hate missing pics!! Pretty sure it's on this end though, my computer is taking forever right now to do anything. I'm gonna keep trying though cuz I have to havr my Jill fix!

Also dissappointing because Happy Hannah wanted me to take a picture of her and send it to Jill tonight a d can't seem to post it on photobucket....says we site down or something. Anyway, she worked very hard trying to "keep her paws crossed" for Jill toight! When yo have chunky, chuby legs, it's a challenge! So, for now, just visualize Happy Hannah lou ging on her bed with her front paws crossed (sorta') for Sista' Jill,!

Okay PEPPER, you're worrying for Jill and she's ot worried. Soooooo we'll worry for you and ow you n't ave to!!

Okay ow, i'm serious on ths. I would nlt be surprised ar all if she hasn't gained weightyet! Two weeks is not a whole lot of time to put on weight. AND, part of this tme Jill has spent getting ner system back in balamce while getting that Leukeran out of her system. AND, on top of that, Brudda was eating all ner food 'til you figured it out! AND, the scales are notorious for being consistently inconsistent!

Yay Jill.  I think its stay off the leukeran for Jill.  That was just too much of an appetite suppressant for her.  Breathe now  :)

Your angel buddy Sassy is sending her love too.

Wooooo Hooooo!  That's great news!

Zeus was a Husky mix diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at age 11.  A visible lung met and suspicious spot on his liver meant a poor prognosis-six weeks was our vet's best guess. We decided to fight for our boy and his right front leg was amputated on 12/1/11. We did six rounds of chemo, changed his diet and spoiled him completely rotten. We were blessed with 10 great months after diagnosis. Against the odds, the lung met remained a single met and grew very little over those months. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit, he fought with a strength that we never imagined he possessed. We have no regrets...

ROO ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!  Roxie doesn't quite get everyone cheering for weight GAIN, as that is not what she's ever heard, but she's all for a shout-out for any reason!  Let there be ice cream!

I logged on just to check on Jill and yea!!!!
Way to bulk up Jilly but you better slow down a little. Next thing you know we will be rooting for the 'Jill's on a diet' campaign.

I'm glad you can relax now Erica!
