My 16 month old tripawd (due to osteosarcoma) pittie has had bright orange diarrhea for the past 2 days now and she is lethargic and doesn’t want to walk on her back legs. I have been able to get her to eat rice and chicken and gravy baby food (I made sure it was the kind without onion or garlic powders) so she still has an appetite which I’m taking as a good sign. Does anyone know what I can do? I’m taking her to my vet first thing in the morning, but she is so uncomfortable. I’m worried this is a sign the cancer is in her liver.

Sarah I'm so sorry, I just saw this. I have no idea what could be going on. Yes it's good she still wants to eat! How is her thirst?

I hope you can get some answers tomorrow and it's totally simple to treat. Keep us posted.

When my dog had giardia, she had yellow/orange diarrhea.  I would send a sample to your vet for testing.  If I recall correctly, the giardia parasite gets most of the nutrition from what the dog eats, leaving the dog lethargic, hungry, and with awful diarrhea.

Orange diarrhea can be a sign of liver disease but then the dog should be jaundiced (yellow eyes and skin).  More commonly it is just secondary to something she ate that did not agree with her or could be secondary to parasites/chemotherapy or other drugs.
