My Marley has been diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma in his lower jaw. He is a bit over 12 years old. After spending over $2000 on testing, we found out that he has other issues... Primary hyperparathyroidism, right adrenal mass, possible liver / omental masses and Cystic calculi. I am brokenhearted as we just lost his brother, Fred, a year ago (heart disease).

Before we knew all the other things going on, removing the right lower half of Marley's jaw was an option, but not one I was comfortable with. Now I am definitely not considering doing that to him.  The oncologist we saw mentioned that we should try Palladia. The only problem is cost - about $650/month.

Both my husband and I are on disability. And we are still paying off Fred's vet bills. We live in an area where vets ask for credit cards up front before they will treat an injured or dying animal (Bergen County, NJ - right outside of NYC). And they charge more for an office visit than a human doctor does ($175 just to walk in the door).  It is so bad that we actually travel 2 hours into Pennsylvania to take our furkids to a vet.  Unfortunately, we had to go to an oncologist in Connecticut (the closest one in PA was about 3 hours away and we knew it was going to be multiple trips).  She was very understanding, but she is just an employee and cannot charge lower prices even if she wanted to.

So, right now, Marley is on Tramadol (75mg - 3 times a day), Gabapenten (100mg - 3 times a day) and Carprofen (60mg - 2 times a day).

Question - Who charges the least for Palladia? I will even drive to Canada (if I can get 3 months worth at a time) if it would get the cost to where I can afford it.

Can someone please help? I just can't lose him so soon after Fred.

Thanks
