Does anyone have experience using Low-Dose-Naltrexone to retard tumor growth and help with pain management after surgery?
My dog Murphy has been on LDN (Low-Dose-Naltrexone) for Mesenchymal tumors in his right leg. The LDN slowed down the cancer in his leg and helps his pain more than tramadol ever did but the tumors have continued to grow and started opening into huge sores prone to infection. He will have the leg amputated soon and will have to go off the LDN because it is a narcotic antithesis. I hope he can go back to taking the LDN at some point. (I take LDN for chronic pain and it has helped my pain and stiffness more than anything else.)
