Im a little late to the convo, but I vote infection too! If not then its this crazy cold weather we are having..everyone is getting colds, I'm thinking the pups are the same too. Stay warm Hannah, eat your steaks by the fire!

As a pawson, I know when I have an infection I feel tired, have weird goop coming out of my eyes and don't breathe too good, so I vote for infection that by now should be butt kicked out of the body with the antibiotics.

As for slowing down, I did notice a change in Chloe when she was about 10.5: doing 45 min walks every day to just 30 min. And she's been that way ever since. Plus her pace is a bit more "casual" not so much "GO GO GO"!

Chloe loves watermelon, which is a great substitute for ice cream. Hope Hannah enjoyed it lots!!!

Paws crossed in a few days you give us all an update and tell us Hannah is back to her normal self :)

-Chloe's mom

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog

Thanks ELIZABETH! Yes indeedy, she .loves her woodstove ....feeding her steak in bed just makes it that more special! I'm notone of those"tough love" mom's at all......jist to state the obvious! Infection vote winning by a landslideZ,!

CHLOE! Yeah, Happy Hannah loves her watermelon too!! Have some pretty nea videos of her eating it off the rnd. I do think the meds have helped with the eye discharge and reducing some of the redness in her eyes...so that's good! Thanks for the vote for infection! ! It counts in my world!

Love to all!

Dear Sweet Sally,

From your posts it seems that Happy Hannah is holding steady...am I correct? Not feeling worse is a good thing! Sometimes it just takes an extra few days to feel better after having a bug.

How are you, Sally?

Love and hugs,

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Hi Sally and Miss Hannah,

I'm late to the conversation but hoping Miss Hannah is back to herself soon, I hated to read that she's been under the weather.  She's far too sweet and positive and fun for that.  No one can feel right with the world when Miss Hannah's shine is off.  Get better sweet girl, we miss your perky self!

Sending healing thoughts and positive energy

Sally and the lovely Miss Happy Hannah

Tuck says he doesn't mind sharing the bed with Hannah's food dish.....he usually has a plethora of stuffed toys, a piece of my footwear that he has dragged there and possibly a cat or two on his :)

Many hugs

Happy Hannah is "holding steady" and steady's looking pretty good.! YAAAAAAY!

Had a little bit of restlessness the last hour or so, nothing bad, just something that was "noticeable". Gave a little pant for a few seconds every now and then and maybe a touch more noticeable breathing pattern during that time. Sleeping soundly now and doing a little "dream dancing"

The discharge in her eyes seems to have cleared up. YAAAAAY! Yep, that's good!clap

She has started some more begging for food and treats, so that's really good! clap Now, don't get me wrong, she hasn't lost her appetite in any way...it was just that she wasn't begging non-stop! So to see her do a little begging in between....ahhhhh....pretty!

Still tires easily, but is perfectly hapoy about it! When you're a couch potato anyway, no real biggie!

I did call my vet t home (Sunday evening) and haven't heard back. Just want to run this little bump" by him as we are about to get a snow and ice storm and I won't be able to get her in Mon. for him to check her.

I think over-all..-other than the low-energy and the little restlessness a bit ago...I DO think the antibiotic has helped!

PUG MAGGIE-KAREN! Seeing Hapoy Hannah prance around with her food bowls rocks my world!!! Thanks for your support from DAY ONE!

SHELBYSTRNG-ALISON! Oh yeah, chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner...topped off with a chocolate bubble bath!! Thank you Alison!

CLAUDIA and JERSEY GIRL ( Jersey Girl...you were an Angel from the day you were born!) Claudia and all the Bear Family...you are so very compassionate to be reaching out to al of us while yo re still in such grief. Thank you. Thank you very much.

LINDA-TUCKER! Now, what kind of "toys" exactly are your bringing for your sleep-over with The Lovely Miss Hannah? Do I need toto check your suitcase for ....for...goodness knows what?! Hapy zHannah had me get you two some popcorn and' of course, chocolate!!

LOVE TO ALL!

Sally and Happy Hannah

Sally,

I'm so happy to hear that Happy Hannah is holding steady. You're right, holding steady is pretty good. No, actually it's great. I'm so happy to hear that you think the antibiotics have done some good, and that she's begging for some yummy treats.

Thank you, Sally. The year Willow was mine was one of the best of my life, too. She taught me so much and gave me so much love. I'm truly a better person because of her.

Please let us know how Happy Hannah is doing, and if your vet has any thoughts on what is going on. Sending you loads of love and positive thoughts!

Love and hugs,
Carol

Drove her through the "blizzard" to get checked.....became more concerned because of her restlessness and possible change in breathing...

Wish I didn't proceed with xrays, but I did........a tumor...he said size of baseball...lung...will make a separate post.........

Happy Hannah and I love you all. Her temperature was back to 101.6 (or 101.3). So that's good.. We celebrate anything around here, right?
