Trouble,

I bet you never even had cancer.  I think you just like to hang around here.

I can photoshoppe a missing leg, too!

I read this post yesterday but ran out of time to comment.  I am so glad that she is just aging gracefully!  That is a joy and a positive note to read about.  YYAYY Trouble!  It can be weird to celebrate arthritic issues but here we go, YAYYY!!!!!  It is the best of all possible outcomes 🙂

Here is to a lifetime more for our sweet pitbull buddy,

Elizabeth and Sammy

Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in the right front leg 8/23/10,

leg fractured 8/27/10,

leg amputated 8/30/10

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us.  Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.

The older they get, the more they like to scare us, hey!

When our guy started to show his age, each subsequent vet visit was filled with slightly more dread - and he liked to make them happen much more frequently than ever before and they were often nothing to be too concerned about. Stinkers they are!

So glad trouble is just 'getting up there' and its not anything worse - stop scaring mom and dad trouble!

Oh Trouble – we are so glad to hear the "good" news.  Us "old gals" get arthritis – it sure does beat that nasty "c" word.  I have it in my remaining back hip and leg and still take Deramaxx and I get around like a pup.  I know you will too!

I agree with Comet – stop scaring us – it's not even Howloween season wink

P.S.  If you think that you are going to be dodging more bullets any time soon - let us know and we will see if we can get you a bullet proof Ruff Wear!!  That will stop anything from hurting you!

W H E W!!!!!

Glad to hear Trouble is still beating cancer! She is an inspiration!

Zack, King of Dogs, 1996 to 2010

Zack lived a full 14 years, even to the end.

The joy and memories he provided us will last a lifetime.

Surviving him is his sister, Izzy, a 12-year-old boxer mix quadpawd.
And the latest addition, Zula, an 11-month-old pit bull mix tripawd.

Shanna,

So happy to here Trouble is still doing well. It's nice when a problem turns out to be something you know how to manage. A year ago. I didn't think arthritis was the easy problem.... We've been trying to avoid some heavy damage here this week too, so I know how relieved you must be.

Keep enjoying every day!

Trouble (and I) really appreciate all the big sighs of relief - Whew! Yesterday and today she has bounced back a little and seems to be moving a bit better.

I think Dan may be onto something - she has all day to think up ways to make mom pay attention.winker  Like everyone else, I hate to say I'm happy it was arthritis, but considering the other choices it's pretty good. Hopefully the weekend will be nice enough for her to enjoy being out a bit.

And Monkeybutt, some of the folks on the PBT forum have actually told us they had forgotten she had cancer, and just see her as a dog that lost her leg!

Sorry we are a little late, Tasha was out being the Trucker Dog.

Trouble I know arthritis can be very painful for dogs but oh my could have been so much worst.  I hope that the Dasuquin helps with those aching joints. We give Dasuquin to Tasha and she loves it, she thinks she is getting a goodie.

Trouble please keep on dodging those bullets!
