Oh my gosh you guys, we hope everyone in the Midwest is safe and sound tonight. My Mom has been following the weather reports (we're getting lots of snow here in the Rockies) and it looks just awful out there in the middle of the country.

Please let us know that you are all well OK?

Stay warm and cozy in your houses. Cuddle up with your Tripawd and know that your friends all over are thinking of you and sending lots of love.

All is well here in our corner of the world, West Michigan!  (So kind of you to ask)!

Just some wind and rain...and lots of tornado sirens - but no actual tornados!

Boo has been napping all day!  whatever  She wouldn't dare step outside and risk getting wet!

And I spent the afternoon running from meeting to meeting in my cute new rain boots! aw-shucks

Boo became a Tripawd Warrior Princess on Sept 8, 2009. She crossed over the Rainbow Bridge 2.7 years later on April 29, 2012. Run free Angel Boo!

We're good in Southern Indiana too!  It got intense for a while.  I work in Louisville, KY in an office building right on the Ohio River.  We were watching the news to see where it was and they said they just received a report that a tornado had touched down...1/2 mile from our work!  It was a little weird, but the building we work in is a good structure so we were safe.  There were several in our area from what I understand, but luckily we weren't affected.

It's so sweet of you to think of us!

Oh my gosh you guys, it's just good to know you're fine. The pictures I saw looked terrible. Thanks for letting us know and keep us posted OK?

The storms we've had here in the Rockies are supposed to go away tomorrow, I hope yours do too! Stay safe and snuggle up!

We got ripped off here in northern Ohio, had a strong wind for about 5 minutes then just some steady rain, they were saying on the radio it was going to be the worst storm since the edmund fitzgerald sank with winds up to 70mph, got things fasten down anyhow, at least we're ready for the winter now!!!! Paws up

My buddy Gus had a left front amputation on April 7, 2010 and lived a great life until July 26,2010

even though we're not 'midwestern'...quite a nite here in ET.  tornados suspected a little bit south of us.  we had five inches of rain in the gauge this morning...it sounded like a freight train all night as it fell....zillions of wet downed leaves, but fortunately all the trees stayed 'up'...geesh.

Yesterday was pretty crazy with the torrential downpours and strong winds. A couple of areas near town lost power, but it was restored w/ in a few hours. My vehicle (that I've only had for 2 months) was damaged when a large tree branch fell on it while I was at work. But I guess that why we have insurance, right?

Today the winds are still very strong, but the sun is shining so it doesn't seem so bad. The lake outside my office window looks black with white caps on it. Too bad I don't have my camera with me, it sure looks neat.

I just love a good storm (as long as no one gets hurt).

Stay safe everyone,

Michelle

Just a lot of wind and rain here in Pontiac.  We did learn that not only is Ginger afraid of thunder storms, she is also scared of high winds.  She got to sleep in the big bed so all three of us could get some sleep!
