This sounds so interesting! I just registered, and wanted to let everyone know about it. Helping a Tripawd's brain stay sharp is especially important since their bodies tend to wear out sooner than a quadpawd, but not their brain.

Experts to share insights on cognitive health in pets during free webinar

DENVER/April 19, 2023 – Morris Animal Foundation, in collaboration with TEDxMileHigh, is hosting a free virtual event April 24 on cognitive health in dogs and cats. Pet owners are encouraged to join the webinar to learn more about how they can help their pets maintain good brain health throughout their lives.

The Foundation’s Dr. Kelly Diehl, board-certified small animal internal medicine specialist, hosts the virtual event. The webinar spotlights Dr. Starr Cameron and Dr. Michael Khan, two veterinarians currently researching canine and feline cognition, who will share important insights into the prevention and treatment of, and common misperceptions about, cognitive decline.

As pets age, cognitive health becomes increasingly important for their overall well-being. Morris Animal Foundation, a global leader in funding critical animal health studies, is dedicated to supporting groundbreaking research in this area.

Sounds so interesting!  Qhen lucky enough to have dogs live into , seniorhood,  "doggy dementia" does tend to rear it's ugly head.  So being  able to help prevent it or handle it would be wonderful

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Wish I'd known about that. A bit worried Floyd is at the early stages of dementia. Hard to say, because we moved and have had massive changes in our life.

Oh! I meant to post the video, here it is. Thanks for the reminder.

Pretty insightful stuff, and good information to share with your vet. I hope you and Floyd are doing better now!
