Hi everybody 🌷

Believe it or not, me and Mom are off again 🐮🙋🏻

Mom was extremely hopeful my last CT scan (almost 2 weeks ago) would show an improvement on my lung mets which would have meant the doxorubicin treatment was working but sadly that was not to be the case …

Mom was in really, really bad shape for a while and put a brave face and a smile anytime I was around and organised even more outings and surprises for me than usual but I know her much better than she thinks …

Apparently, the lung mets have grown (one almost ten times 😳) and there are more so the oncologist isn’t optimistic at all …

Eventually Mom got back on her feet (as much as she can) and decided it was time to travel again and have more adventures because being happy is the only way of winning against this damn, crap, idiotic, stupid piece of 💩 disease 😡😡😡

Soooooooo ……….

Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

Wheeee! Where is the shuttle taking us Eurydice? It sure looks fun wherever it is.

I am sad about the stupid lung mets. Nasty little buggers with no purpose at all really.

We promise to live as you do, So we are staying pawsitive and HOPPY because love is our greatest weapon to fight those worthless evil critters. With joy and love surrounding you pretty girl, I truly believe anything is pawsible.

And away we go!

It's better to hop on three legs than to limp on four.™
