Hey there Summer 💖

We are so, so lucky to be able to stay at my daughter's flat in Portugal🏡 if it wasn't for her, this trip would have been cut short 💸💸💸💸

Rita is giving me and Eurydice the opportunity of enjoying these precious days even if Gaspar (the youngest of her cats) is not too thrilled having a cow moving into his private space 🙀😾🐮

My girl adores cats but he doesn't want to know 😾😾😾

Romeu, my oldest cat, on the other hand is cool about her 😻😻😻

Sending you and your gorgeous pack an avalanche of kisses 💕💕💕💖🐾🐾

Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

Hey there 💚

You are absolutely right, I thought at some point after all the mad digging I'd have somebody looking up at us and saying sayonara to my girl 🎎🎎🎎🎎🎎🎐🎌

I bet she could have got there 💨💨💨⛏⛏💪🏽 if she had more time 😁

Sending you lots and lots of love and cuddles to your fluffies ❤️❤️🐾🐾😘😘

Hey Alison 💙

I also adore sunsets (especially at the beach) and when you get to be there with your best friend it is just pure bliss 🌅💟☮☯

I suspect the reason behind Jasper not appreciating sunsets on the beach might have something to do with sand getting to her paws, after all she is a princess 💁🏼👑 😂

Sending you lots and lots of love and tummy rubs to your beautiful princess ❤️❤️❤️👸🏼

Hey Karen 💜

Well, Eurydice and Elly can work as a team 💨💨💨⛏💪🏽 three legs are definitely better than one 👍🏼

Yes, I can picture Elly going full speed  ahead frenetically 🌪 🌪and Eurydice hammering everything down  🔨 using her Schwarzenegger leg 🏋🏽💪🏽

Eurydice hasn't been with pugs since we moved to England but we used to go for regular walks with my friend Sue's five pugs when we were living in France and it was so funny to see all of them running around my huge girl 😂

Yesterday's hearts were really special I hope it is a sign of much more happiness coming my girl's way 💝

Sending lots and lots of kisses and cuddles to your cute mini hounds ❤️❤️😘😘🐾🐾

Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016.  Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016.  Lung mets August 25, 2016.  Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016.   Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.

Wherever they are, they are together.

We were at Guincho beach yesterday and Rita's wonderful neighbours joined us with their kids for the afternoon.

The children were thrilled to play with Eureka !

Ooh good! I saw you were online, and was hoping for the next instalment. Eurydice is SO sweet with Clara! Imagine what it must be like for her to meet a dog as tall as she is. She will remember Eurydice for the rest of her life, I'm sure. In fact, when she's older, she will probably wonder if it can really have happened, or whether she imagined it. 'There was this beautiful dog, the size of a cow, with three legs and she let me cuddle her... Hang on, was I dreaming?' heartheartheart
