Hey everybodyheart

Eurydice and myself are travelling through Europe, left the UK September 13th and will take 2 1/2 months to visit all of our family and friends, humans, canines and felines included.

I will be posting photos and videos of our trip, really want to share our happiness with all of you and live every day with my girl to the full.

First picture is Eurydice shilling out in the hotel in Le Mans, France, the top sheet is mine so no hair is left for the cleaning ladies to deal with winker

Eurydice is a really cool girl way-coolwe did 650 km day one, 900km day 2 and 750km day 3 and she was as good as gold and so so so excited to be on the road !!!

Sending you all lots of love and kisses and super cuddles to your babies heart

Eurydice having lunch in Spain somewhere between Burgos and Portugal.

I am raising my glass to the Spanish, who ARE real dog lovers !

We stopped by the side of the road to have lunch, they welcomed Eurydice in and to my absolute surprised out comes a burger for madame because "it is lunch time and she must be hungry"

They did not charge me for the burger, it was sent by the cook "with pleasure!"

I hadn't told my parents about Eurydice's cancer and amputation as they are both 80 and I felt it would be better for them to see her now, as she is really happy even without the leg.

I waited for the 6 sessions of chemo to be over to travel with her.

As it turned out, they were both totally devastated with the news and it took them a couple of days to digest the news, I hadn't seen my father cry like this since his mother passed away ...

I haven't explained there is no cure and chances are Eurydice will have a fairly short life span (my Mom thinks she will live the same amount of time as if she was cancer free)

Anyway ...

We are having another marvellous day today, meeting my oldest friend for lunch (met him when I was 13, he is 15years older than me)

Sending you all lots of love and plenty of cuddles for your fluffies heart

Hi Meg, Elsie and Clare heart

It wasn't actually my initial idea to load you with photos and videos of our travels as I felt this wasn't of any specific help to other pawrents who are on the same journey, but in the end Jerry kindly thought it was worth sharing as this is a HUGE Great Dane's journey and it might be an inspiration for others to witness how our boys ad girls can enjoy life and have fun despite the damn cancerpoopicon_png

Sending you a big hug and cuddles to your gorgeous pack heart

Oh gosh, I agree with Jerry! Definitely. It is hugely inspiring and exciting and just so full of joy. Only thing is, you're giving us Wanderlust... Big kiss for Eurydiceheart And bless your parents! I found that really touching, and so sweet of you to try and protect them. That must have been so hard. Enjoy your travels, and please, please, keep on with the pics and videos.
