Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Lookin good Ollie! Cannot wait to see camping pictures! Have fun! Lori, Ty and the gang.
TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
Whoa! We've got "Granny" running down the street after Ollie in her jammies and we don't have VIDEO?? Travesty!!
Glad that silly boy is safely back home. I know your heart was in your throat!
I'm with Sahana, "Take that y ou crazy resuce people!"
And look at his little camping outfit...ADORABLE! I bet he's only had "hand-me-downs" and now he has his very own brand spanking new "clothes"!
That expression of his is cute...so very, very cute!!
PICTURES!! VIDEOS!!! Where are they? We are all waiting!!!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
The first camping trip is in the books. We all had a great tiime...especially Ollie. He learned to swim, which is something we are pretty sure he had not done before. Judging from the way he tried in his first attempt (he looked like a three month old puppy attempting it for the first time), it just didn't seem that he had been in any water bigger than the little doggie pool.
I am having trouble loading videos to YouTube since the gurus "fixed" my photo program. I can do Photobucket, though.
He went from this....

...to this in four days.
Kathi and the Turbotail April Angel....and the Labradork
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
Apparently I don't do a very good job on embedding those, either.
Here are a few stills.

I saw the videos just fine! Delightful videos!!
I love the before and after! Absolutely amazing the difference! Yeah, at first he looked like a kid splashing in a baby pool! Then he became an Olympian swimmer!
Honest to goodness, it looks like he's grown since he's been in your care! You'll need a bigger sofa soon...or else I guess you'll be sitting on the floor while he lounges! He's really handsome! And boy oh boy, he is a happy boy! He is just so lucky to have you as his forever home!
Posts on Ollie just make us all so happy...happy for him...happy for you...happy for us, his extended
family. Great job Murphy and Gus!
Can't wait for more pics and videos!
Love to all!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!

WOW... what a happy dog and a happy family! I'm w/Sally ... he's definitely growing ... he's going to be a big guy! Maybe that's cause my little girl is only 18 pounds but wow.... he definitely looks happy and that makes us ALL happy!
