They were absolutely captivated and completely focused while they watched the video.
Here we are going through the paces!
In this one Im gaining tneir complete attention and focus!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Oh,and after a hard day at Jasper Lily University, they have a little play time!
Our next class? Teaching Frankie to use his "inside voice" outside!

Murphy had his right front leg amputated due to histiocytic sarcoma at 7 years old. He survived 4 years, 2 months & 1 week, only to be taken by hemangiosarcoma at 11 1/2 years 6/12/17 Read about Murphy's Life on Three Legs
It's cos your so STRICT with them, Sally! They're plainly TERRIFIED of doing anything wrong.
Love these videos, love these dogs. And Myrtle did come for her cookie, so she clearly knows what's important. Girl after my own heart.
Looking forward to the next class!
Lots of love,
Meg and Clare (and Elsie Pie) xxx

DEFINITELY a food oriented training regimen will be best for Myrtle! Frankie? Not so sure yet what will motivate him. You brought a huge grin to my morning!

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

Ha ha!!! LOL!!!! This is great!!! Jasper would never sit OR stay OUTSIDE .... oh a girl can dream... but she would bolt and be half-way back to Mexico... forgetting her life really does not suck here in LA.
UNLESS perhaps her mama was holding a tennis ball!!! Jasper LOVES the dog park and playing fetch ... here she is saying "thank you madre for working from home last week so we could go to the park to play"....
It really is a dog's life!
XOXO

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Oh Ollie!!! LMAO!! You have REALLW mastered the art of "stay"!!! BRAVO sweet voy!!! Still laughing over here!
Jasper Liky! We all adore you!! If that isn't the happiest mug in the world, I don't know what is you! Jasper knows she has run the lottery!
Ha! Ha! Clare, on thethis rare, rare occasions those dogs ever here the word "no"," they just wiggle a d wag a dd keep on doing what they were doing without interruption!
Donna, I'm still smiling thinking about those great vides a, d photos of Host Murphy at the Trilawd pawty! His is soooooooooo happy!!!!!!

I may be biased as a dog mom but I truly LOVE this photo of Jasper ... I think it shows leaps and bounds how far she has come (she still cowers and hides when she hears loud sounds or is unsure of something ... more than Shelby ever did). But if this was the photo that they had put on Petfinder ... she wouldn't have been there an HOUR! I am lucky I took a chance on a dog hiding in some bushes with brown/black/tan markings and I had no clue how big those ears where till I met her!
Now she will be the first to tell you that her life isn't perfect since her mama has to work 8 hours a day and she's left home by herself from 7:15ish to 5:00ish (depending on traffic) but boy oh boy do we make up for it on the weekends! It is Jasper and Madre time ... all day, every day!

I agree, Alison. It's a FABULOUS pic. She looks like she's so happy she just can't find the words. Like just pure JOY. And I LOVE her ears

Ah...er....yeah. YES!!! That's EXACTLY what I was doing, teaching them to be indifferent!!! Even I didn't realize what an AMAZING trainer I was jntil you pointed it out!!! Itsw really hard to be humble once I realized just exactly how brilliant I am at this training stuff.....and how brilliant Merry Myrtle and Frankie are!!!

OH Sally you and those two characters always make me laugh. Teaching a dog indifference surely does take an extreme trainer. This could maybe be a new business venture for you.. Not too many have your special knack.
