So Maggie May isn't a tripawd, but she is Adelaide's new best friend. And Adelaide is being such a great big sister. Maggie May actually wears Adelaide out, imagine it. They are almost evenly matched. I'd say about 90%. And then 10% of the time, Maggie May is off trying to find something else to do because she is still wanting to play and Adelaide is done. I wanted to post some pictures for Sally to see, and since Sally isn't a facebooker, figured this would be a good place.
Maggie May is about the same size as Addy now in height. She's 18 weeks old and 34 pounds.

And while we are saying oooh and aww, she's so cute... well, she's also a puppy. And she's a bit destructive. She pulled down my Wag! book twice (yep, twice) off the night stand and chewed on it. Guess she was trying to read it.

Karma, these pictures are just priceless. The coloring on her pretty little face...those cute little ears...sooooo darn adorable!!
And as far as this site being just for TRIPAWDS....say whaaaat? Ohhhhh nooooo.....not so! We NEED the smiles that "Brendol's puppy" brings us! Brendiol, Sassy, Shelby, Murphy and Gus, Ellie, Polly, Ty, Harmony, Happy Hannah, Jake, Jerry Carol's Maggie, and all the others have all personally paw -picked who they want for us to love and to laugh with. And some just happen to have four legs (and may they all stay that way too!) Besides, if it's a "tripawd only" site, there woukd be no two legged humans to typo for them!
This just makes me sooooo happy to see you surrounded by all this joy...love...fun...and nightly chaotic cuteness gone wild!!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Thanks guys. Yes, Sally, she is as soft as she looks. Super soft. And the next book she grabbed was 'The Alchemist' (it's now missing its cover). And then I managed to save another book from her ravages. I guess I need to gate up the library to keep her from grabbing books out of there.
As for Aissa, she is tolerating her, but not amused. But while Adelaide and Maggie May wrestle for hours on end, I have Aissa come sit with me and she gets good momma time.

Active 10+ Pyr mix suddenly came up lame with ACL tear in left rear leg. Scheduled for a TPLO but final pre-op x-rays indicated a small suspicious area, possibly OSA, which could have caused the ACL tear. Surgeon opened the knee for TPLO but found soft bone. Biopsy came back positive for OSA. Became a Tripawd 9/18/14. Carbo6 with Cerenia and Fluids. Pain free and living in the moment. Crossed the Bridge on 7/12/15 after probable spread of cancer to her cervical spine. A whole lifetime of memories squeezed into 10 months. Here's her story: Eloise

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
